[sandra] A flower growing in a field. This reminds me of a poem I remember reading in Middle School. I believe it was called "where the Poppy's Grow". It was a people about the travesties of war, with undertones of the resiliency of the human spirit. It also leads me to think about the song "Oh Danny Boy" since I think my choir was singing that song at the time and those two things will forever be connected in my mind. [Edgar] fuck daisies they are way to happy, they also remind me of mario because his other girl who isn't peach's name is daisy. I don't like her too much either. She seems to have something strange going on in her head and I think she's sleeping with Waluigi. What a weirdo. [tom] Why the heck daisy? a flower? I mean, it could have been this deep thought provoking word. instead its just this let down. Why? Couldn't ypou have thought of a slightly more interesting word? [forrest whitaker] A daisy is nice and shiny and looks like a crazy butterfly that comes from the sky. When I think of daisies I think of yellow white things that shine in my eyeballs as I sing a happy song about Simon and Garfunkel. Daisies shine in the amber moonlight and look like floating tulips. Her exhaust pipe was longer than it should have been this time of year, yet she still purred along with the enthusiasm of youth. Why she did this she did not know, it was perhaps in here makeup? She pottered along the freeway slowly, fumbling over these issues as larger and faster vehicles buzzed on by. She was blissfully unaware of the mess that tangled her tiny mind. The end was near, perhaps, to her worrying dilema. Her shiny red duco shone like a beacon, yet the truck did not see her. End of the line. [The Gat] there was a daisy in the field. Ripples and waves of petals surrounded him, and he was pinned by blue sky and a rainbow of earth. [Elise] Daisy Buchanan might have been pretty, but I don't think she did right by Mr. Gatsby. The fact that she did not even show up at his funeral just further proves how fickle and untrustworthy some people are. Her real name is Marguerite Catherine Siena, I believe. Which is really pretty, even if it's not my style. I had a Lazy Daisy sprinkler as a kid. It would spray water, and the water hit my neighbor's house, and he'd get mad and I think he called the cops. We've always had one odd neighbor. [Rachel] One time i saw a bee feeding on the core of a daisy. i was intrigued because it went so fast...do bees ever stop and taste what they're eating...or do they just go from daisy to daisy eating but never realizing what they are doing? i hope the bee isn't just a metaphor for my life. The needle that shot it is so frequently surprising me. I always thought those seeds tasted so nice and the air was so calming. My Lord of seas, save this soul. The darkness will overcomes my mind. I will let it be. I can always come back. I can always let this dopamine roam. [shane] It is a flower. It is yellow. I like it's petals. It's also the name of a character in the Mario series. I don't really like her, though. She is very slow in Mario Kart. And the noises she makes in Mario Party usually annoy me. My friend David always likes to be here, though, and I don't understand why. I tend to just hate the color yellow, too, so. [Heather] Walking silently amongst the frozen grass of New York Cities time square, one's mind could begin to wander. [Qui] beautiful, stunning flowers amidst the lifelong rays of light. no ideas come to mind the ones brought to you ever so dearly [brian] Pushing up daisies, which is fine by me. If I can help kick up daisies from under the ground I can only hope it will comfort the people who have cared for me after they have packed up my painted corpse in a pretty box and slapped it deep into the earth. [aggie] Daisy...a flower. A common weed, in fact. My friend was talking about the show Pushing Daisies one day at lunch...Apparently, the plot is more depressing than the name of the show. So what else? It's just a flower. I do not believe it has a significant meaning... [...] The daisies were strewn across her feet. Her lovers body was laying on top of them. Crushing them. It blooms so simply, so dantily, that I shudder with thinking about its existence. I am not so simple. I am complicated. A daisy shakes in the wind, looking not for a solution but for an existence. Perhaps something was lurking in a pocket that I did not discover while shoving the clothes uncerimoniously into the washer. Drat, foiled again. Such is the price of motherhood! [Cedar] Nowhere that I want to be. Everything that I have ever known has been a lie. I miss how I used to look at everything with curiosity and hope. The last thing I want to lose is imagination. Then it will be finally over. Then there will be no point. [Simeon] I was sitting in a huge meadow in a white summer dress with Jack. He was just watching me as I plucked daisies from the ground and made a chain. He suddenly said "...you're beautiful, you know that?" [Amy] Chained to the walls of my world, I can't see any outing any time soon. Sure, it would be nice to get out once and a while, but my days are stuck here, pouring mapel syrup for marsupials. One solitary flower had found purchase in a crack right in the center of the road. It's precarious position was the very thing that saved it. Passerbys noticing it often veered out of the way to preserve it's beauty. [Reva] daisy duke, oh she's such a darling but she couldn't tell left from white. small and bright and shining in the sun but behind that smile hid her blossoming sadness. she couldn't tell the world how she was feeling because it wouldn't take anything more than happiness for an answer. oh, daisy duke, what will we do with you. [Mich] The daisies in the field rustled in the wind. Their sweet scent drifted toward me. I closed my eyes and let the breeze carry my mind away, away from the field and up into the air, higher and higher until I reached the twinkling of the stars and landed on the moon. [Lindsey Hall] daisy makes me think of the girl from rock of love 2 w/ bret michaels. He thought she was so hot when she looked like a monkey with huge tits. [e.b.] daisys are pretty, they make it seem like summer has just began, they remind me of sunflowers with the pretty yellow bit in the middle. They are the best part of daisys. Excellent. [candice] What better form of beauty than a daisy. Simple, elegant, flawless, carefree, and delicate. [caolan] help [swapna] daisies are prettty. little flowers of death. i actually hate them. they are evil. pretty evil. but still evil. i imagine they are in a circle of hell. probably where all the suicides go. they remind of of death. or am i thinking about poppies? maybe. same thing though. daisies poppies. death. it's a sad though. flowers are happy. "How did this custom begin?," she thought as she grasped the stem in anger, realizing that the last petal would not give her the outcome she desired. [Andrea] Spring time, innocence. They remind me of a world that was simpler- a world full of promise, love, and hope. Daisies remind me of my faith, my future, my past. They symbolize my dreams. [Heather] oops! [me] . . .
