  • There's a horse and some hay and a baby. Why a baby? It's vast and smelly and the baby is newborn and oozy and slimy and crying crying crying. There is no one else around but the horse. The horse is perplexed by the noise but continues to chew on his hay.

  • Today is on off-kilter day; i'm not feeling very stable. I have to make a decision soon to put a beloved bunny to rest. So today I cry some tears and take some photos and feel the blessings he has brought into my life so far.

A word I wish I could find in a lover.

But, then I would be bored.

  • Stable. Hah. I wish I was. This operation's gone to shit. Medical or military - easy question to answer for most, but for me, right now, there's no way. Tiny scalpels are barraging my brain, cutting through fields of neurons and reducing me to something less stable than I'd ever imagined I would become.

    [Tom]

  • it might be alright to be stable
but its more exciting to explode and disintegrate with gravity

  • He said he was stable, but he really wasn't. His rages would come out of nowhere, blowing through me like a hot desert wind.

    [miss fish]

  • Stable, everything I'm not. The definition of insanity. Why do all thoughts lead back to the same conclusion? Where does madness end and sadness begin? Why are people multi-coloured? Who are my children going to be? Would they be stable? Stability is a process, not a measure - just like happiness. Just like life.

    [Rahul Thakar]

  • I don't think I am yet stable. emotionally. It is so draining, so overwhelming, to find yourself a widow at age 59. And about to turn 60. And all the plans for retirement have gone to hell in a handbasket. Lonely, LONELY, LONELY... in need of a hug.

    [jessica]

  • My life is stable when you smile, when you hold my hand or when you play with my hair.

  • Atoms are stable if their valence electrons are filled. It's a little like humans. If all our layers are filled, we are stable. If we have everything we want, we're happy, and happy is stable. Sometimes I like having one or two less valence electrons just for a little excitement.

    [Emily]

  • I'm stable. I think I'm stable. I am stable. Stability is something I don't need to think about, it's part of my life. Always there. Guiding me, it's like my conscience. Therefore I know I'm going to hell.

    [Cherry]

  • I'm stuck in it. I've always wanted to get out but I'm not quite sure how. It's so confining. plus, my owners hardly ever take me out. I wish I was free but instead I spend my exsistance here.

  • the water was calm, the breeze easy and the sun warm. then out of no where came a wave, more like a wall. the rain came, darkness fell and i was pulled off the boat and under 10, 20 could have been 100 feet down. i thought i took my last breath. i got back up and on the boat and the day was calma and cool again. wow, what was that?

  • In a stable situation he would have made mistakes, but this was different, Harry looked over his shoulder and saw the animal lunge, the rest happened automatically.

  • My mum and dad just bought a stable table! to eat their dinner on their knees in front of the TV - I said "you just turned into old people you know" and dad said "no, look, they're decorated". They were floral. Proved my point. Stable is also a place a horse lives. I would like a block of stables in my future country house (with dairy farmer). I don't think I'm particularly stable...in its mental health sense!! But then again, I am actually. That's just something you say, right?

But just because they feel safe does not mean that they are not being abused. It is a common misconception. Stable also refers to the way in which you can feel. For eg: "You look fat"said her boyfriend = not stable relationship. It is however stable if this is a true fact and if she is okay with it.

  • Pick up the pieces and weave them together. That's what he told me. It seemed silly then, to think of it just like that. So simple. So clean. How could I just let it sit in my hands like that? It would sift through, and I would be left there, sitting alone in a pile of musty hay, waiting for him to come riding back.

    [Alyson]

  • Can you support the beings above you? Are you a stable foundation? Or will you break like a stick under pressure? Don't make us topple over, friend, or our civilization will surely fall apart.

  • I am someone who is not stable. No matter how hard I try with my.. somewhat of a boyfriend but not really my boyfriend, I never have patience, I never have self control. • Long. Short. Wooden.
It is where I was born and it is where I will stay. Forever. Jesus is connected to me. The straw and the forest are connected to me.

  • Reminds me of a table. Most tables are stable. Hopefully. Unstable tables are no fun at all. When tables are unstable, you have to fold up little pieces of newspaper and stick them under the short leg to even it all out. I wish I was as stable as a good table, but that's getting personal.

    [Saaz]

  • Stable. Hmph. I wish i had stable anything. Relationships, cash flow, relationships, jobs, and especially relationships. If i had that, id be set. No more having nothing. No more hard times. But the man upstairs may not have that in store for me. So i just deal man, just deal. What else is there to do? Devine intervention is hard to go against.

or stable means something to do with horses, but who really cares about horses?

    im heartless.

    [sean fitzgerald]

  • Steady and set, ready to finally begin. Scared and clinging to the edge of a massive fire. Inches from a horrible explosion. Simply thrilled to be in this precarious position and ready to embrace the danger that comes with being alive and hoping for a good future.

  • It's early in the morning and I head down to the stable to feed and water the horse. Chubby is his name and he's not really a horse, but a shetland pony. And he's mine. The thrill of riding in the field is mine, because I head down to the stable every morning.

    [Sally]

  • He was good, stable, a comfortable fit. Strong, and gentle. Simple, and clean, clean habits, and all that, clean in the way that soil is clean- not pristine, not unmarred by anything in life, but unfouled by it. Still beautiful and good. He was like a barn or a horse or a little cottage out in the country with rows and rows of deliberately chosen "wildflowers". Stable. He was also dreadfully boring.

I don't want to leave my apartment, but I have to because my landlord is an ass and won't resign my lease. stable? that's not in my vocabulary right now. at all.

    [Yv-]

  • A stable is a place where you put horses. Or you can hide bodies in one. It's also a thing that you can be. Not a STAAAABLE, but you can be stable. A rock is quite stable. Michael J. Fox is not stable because he has Parkinson's disease and it makes him shake like a chihuahua. Chihuahuas are the opposite of stable because they shake and you can't put horses in them.

    [Aaron]

  • What, were you born in a barn? What is so wrong with that? Jesus was born in a barn.

    [cjstar]

  • The stable was dusty, but had more cobwebs than dirt. A forgotten charlie horse was in the corner, but it was more of a shadow than a being. The outline of where he had stood still shone on the wall, but more glistened than shone. His neigh had been overpowering, but more musical than worldly. Those were the days, but more moments than anything.

    [Katelyn]

  • I like to think that I'm mentally stable. it's a frame of mind really, this whole stability thing. I do take things to help keep me stable, sot hat I don't have a nervous breakdown again. Drugs are helpful in so many ways.

    [Teresa]

  • I ran toward the stable boy with a twitch in my hand. "How dare you whip my horse!" I shouted.

There are stables at claireville where i work. also andy and his girlfriend laura work at stables grooming horses. you know i really hope they are happy together and will be together for a long time, but what i am really praying for it they wont have kids for a long while.

  • I must say in a stable and steady voice; in a stable exercise of my keyboard-made-larynx---that I can no longer be able to keep my stable nature, stable mood, or stability in general. I must say that the truth of the matter is:never mind.

  • stable.

    i'd love to be stable.

i'd love to know what tomorrow will bring.

i'd love for a plan to work out

    or a day be predictable.

for my emotions to stay stable.

but instability and unpredictability are the road my life takes.

  • I can't think about anything else. I'm so tired and I don't feel like I will ever be able to fight again. My hands and feet are crimson red, caked and dried and I'm still bleeding. Will I last through the night? Even the hay around me is solid red...and there's a monstrous horse watching me, though neither it nor any of the other animals will touch the hay saturated in my blood.

  • horses and puppies living together unfortunate and cold
    but why
where do these four-legged companions derive their collective pleasure from?
    from where, i should say.
    should i?

especially when they're cold and unfortunate and cramped all together like this.

  • I'm a little drunk right now,,, or at least I think I am. I haven't tried to stand yet... that's always the deciding factor, how well you can stand.

    [fox]

  • Stability. Yeah, like he had any of that left. Right now, he was curled in a corner with a half-empty bottle of gin and listening to the adult contemporary station. Stable was a job, a house, a wife and kids, some kind of permanence. Stable was not this. Not this life.

    [talkativebee]

  • Stable is something that I wish I were. I feel so totally disorganized, overwhelmed, ugh. What happened to the stability in my life? The warm, comforting hug of stability? I want it back. I need it back.

    [bele]

  • I won't go on that boat again, I told him, never. I'm standing on the shore and I will stay here, no horse will bring me to this other country where up is down. I stay here, without you.

Martha always sits in the same place staring at the fish in the aquarium and watching the little bubbles go to the suface. It's what keeps her calm...

    [AJ Brown]

  • There are so many ways that we are treated like farm animals as a society. The stable represents our fundamental conformity and cynicism towards others. We will not go outside of this stable and crap gets everywhere.

    [Zach Perkins]

  • Stable? Like a horse stable? The ones that smell like hay and horse poo. Some people describe that as a sort of perfume to them, but i think it's horrible. But I guess if you really liked horses or something.
Or is it like stable, as in not un-stable. Or mentally unstable. As in that lady who killed her 5 kids or whatever...

    [B.Aubz]

  • the horses in the stable smelled like heat and must and hay an everything she could remember from her childhood. She saw the way their eyes danced in their long lashes, peering terrified from one door to another. She remembered that same caged look flitting from her mothers eyes, to her sisters, then back again to her. The pad locks still looked the same, but the stalls were smaller.

    [mack]

  • I have a job now yay! so I guess I'll be more stable, but it's on commission though...so maybe not?

    [Lauren Hamblin]

  • The ladder I was climbing wasn't as stable as I would hope it to be. But what could a girl like me do? I'm on the job, painting a house- the ladder sitting on gravel. I guess all I can do is hope that the ladder doesn't fall for whatever reason. That's not exactly how I would like to go home.

    [Krys]

  • Horses live in stables,
    and as horses live there,
    Humans live in houses.

Though Humans have their choice, Horses do not.

  • Stable?

    STABLE?

What the hell is a stable, anyway?

Sorry, my mind is turned off
and there's water in my ear
    and I can't hear
    and-

    Oh, wait...

you mean a horse stable, dontcha?

    Aaaah I see

    But time is running ou-

    [NobodySpecial]

  • Let's have a moment of silence for the stables.

    [Marie]

  • Stable is a made up word we all use so we can showcase how "ok" we are. I've never been stable, and I've never known anyone who was..but I knew too many people who pretended to be. Sad. Sad world. We live in the most unstable existence ever created.

    [M]

  • You've turned the tables unstable, unable to
weather the pauses in your speech.
I wonder whether you'll ever be

  • Stable... I wish life was stable. The other day I was told that my pay check had $900 more than it actually did. I was thinking of all the stuff I could use that for, and how amazing that would be. I could set up that Roth IRA I've been saving up for, I could buy a new amp, etc, etc. However it was soon brought to my attention that the person was not informed correctly, as the misread "$90" as a "$900". Theres a big difference between $90, and $900- Life just isn't stable :(

    [Josiah]

  • Something my life rarely is. It just seems right now like I'm running against the wind, unable to get very far ahead...and occasionally, the wind spikes up, and I get knocked back...usually with a few scrapes and bruises...but if you ever want your life to be stable, you have to keep going...you have to fight against the world to attain that dream of yours.

    [Me]

  • Some people are just not mentally stable. It's kind of scary. One of my friend's parents is a doctor for unstable people and I'm constantly telling people, "Go see Joe's mom". They're not always very happy with me. Oh well, It's just who I am and they need to accept me and my position. Because I am much more stable than they are. But they're too unstable to realize that. I pity them. But whatever, they're my friends so I have to accept them.

    [Madelin Otterbein]

  • stable. thats a word that i would never use to describe myself. until recently... my life was just turmoil, emotionally for 2 years. but now, im settled. stable. life and boyfriend and work and school.. routine. nice. not always predicable which is different from stable, but comfortable. i like feeling grounded and not looking for the next thing to do but rather enjoying the moment as it exists.

    [amy]

  • Of stable mind
take the time to calm yourself and
    rest-
the rows of crowded stalls can't handle another
    angry horse.

    [Kirsten]

  • Stable is something I've never been. I've always thought i should be more stable... More like my father, more like my mother. Its hard to think about how stable everyone's future seems to be. I just want to be.

    [Sam]

  • The world was stable. There was nothing; the silence was merely there. The boy narrowed his eyes and watched as the stable lands stood before him, driving his senses wild and causing his fingers to tingle with excitement. What was this excitement about he wondered? Why was he so excited by the simplest things? With his eyes narrowed, he breathed in the air one more time.

    [Brittany]

  • The stable was empty today. I didn't know why, but for some reason I wasn't surprised. Yesterday it was full of hay or horses but today there was nothing in there and it was completely clean. I wasn't even planning to come here today, I only came yesterday because my friend dragged me. It was the first time I had been.

    [Franz]

  • This is not me...or it wasn't.
This is something I'm striving to be...or am I?
Do I want to be stable?
Or do I want to be ... interesting.
Maybe some portions of my life should be stable...like money. Money is nice. Happiness is nicer.
I'm glad my emotions are more stable at least, thanks to the wonders of Prozac!

    [CeeGunn]

  • I left my horse in the stable to be groomed and fed and made comfortable in his stable box. He likes to be stabled at this stable as they are kind to him and feed him very well. It is a stable environment

    [Betsy Cord]

  • She breathed heavily. "Mom, STOP!" she screamed.

Diana didn't pay attention, just kept smashing the silverware on the floor. "HE'S REAL, HE'S REAL, HE'S REAL!" she screamed.

Natalie was torn between rescuing her mother and just standing there running her fingers through her hair. She wanted her mother to be stable, she really did, but how was it going to work if she didn't take her medication?

    [Ai]

  • Her eyes were drawn to the horse standing there, quiet, resolute. His eyes shone like diamonds and it took all her courage not to run to his majestic side. She walked past with her head held high.

    [Laurel]

  • Stability.
What a weird thing to determine if you have or not.
It also reminds me of that story about Jesus.
    Anyway,
I guess I'm not stable because I'm always changing.
    Would that even count?
    Who cares.
This reminds me of "Anarchy - the Mother of Stability."
    An old Russian protest.

    [aline]

  • Stable to where the horses live. Stable to create a life that is mine. Stable where apparently the baby jesus was born in a manger. Stable creativity. Stable left foot right foot. i hope for stability. I lov the idea of it. Yet how easily it can be confused with boredome. Familiarity breeds comtempt.

    [JB]

  • Oh how I hate the shiny people. Those that have it all. I refuse to believe anyone can be that happy. Mind, I guess we all adopt the strictured smile of the shiny.

I guess I look like any other white, stable affluent gits of smugness.

    [jamon]

  • I like horses.

    [Erin]

  • Nothing is stable, at all. Every table, every economy, every friendship. Your health, your habits, your life, your emotions. While they give off a facade of being controllable, they're as wild as the sea winds. Nothing is stable.

    [Bill Goodman]

  • Sleeping in the stable I was suddenly awoken by the sound of leaden hooves, I looked up and to my horror there was a scary half man half pig half bear looking at me. Im super serial.

  • There is no stable in my mind. Everywhere there is an emotion, one trumping the other as if there is an evolution in my mind. Emotions fighting to reign supreme, but the second there is on that claims victory, another tries to take its crown... it relentlessly persues the crown.

    [Randall]

  • I always hated working in the stables, ever since I was young. Magical stables always smelt worse then you could possibly imagine. I think it was all the rare foods they ate. The only upside I could see to owning the stables was, at any point and time, I could ride the animals.

    [Anthony Tomes]

  • yesterday i found a moment sit in my livingroom, quietly, the back door just slightly open, so i could hear the sounds of life outside. a small brown bird was pulling insistently at a worm, in the waning light of a summer day. some last bit of food for her young, or for herself. the grill, slowly cooling on the porch, reminds me of the chicken we had for dinner, seasoned with pepper, salt, garlic and some other spices which couldn't be placed. corn, broccoli and macaroni and cheese on the side, with sweetened tea to drink. the trees sway ever so slightly, and the occasional bird calls. further along i can hear the cars passing on the road. a white cat saunters across the yard, just passing through. the dog, sitting next to me quietly ignores it. the smell of coffee wafts in from the kitchen, reminding me of morning, and work yet to be done. these are the things that come and go, nothing is truly stable, but time.

  • I want to be stable in all areas of my life; financially; health; work; relationships; I want change but stable change. I don't like not knowing if I am stable or if things start shifting abrutly. Change with stability

    [Rae]

  • it's NOTHING that describes the relationship we're in. it's like taking a hike. kinda rocky when you first go up, but it gets better as the trip wears on. and once you come down, it's all downhill from there. if you want stable... take the country road.

    [hugarbol]

  • We are fine.
    We are sturdy.
    Are we stable?
So we know what we're doing?
Do we care what we're doing?
Do we care what other's think of what we're doing?
    Why does it matter?
    We are one.
    We are two.
We do anything we wish to do.
Because we are not falling apart.
We are not wreckage in the streets.
    We are wholesome.
    We are fine.

  • To be stable
    is to be penned up
    and is the acceptable

I prefer an open field to a stable
But risk being left out cold in the rain.

  • I'm not emotionally stable. I feel everything. Intensely. Passionately. Almost to the point of making me ill. Actually, my emotions have made me ill. No. I'm not emotionally stable. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

  • I've always wanted horses. Or for that matter some sort of lasting internal stability. Maybe when I'm older. Though what's the point then??

    You can keep me forever,
I'd prefer it if you did.
But each moment I spend will make me pay later,
Don't take more joy than you deserve.

  • I definitely think about horses right away. I love horses. Seeing the word stable makes me instantly happy. It really is amazing how a word can stir up instant images.

Also, stable means solid. But this thought is secondary to me. Though it could apply to a stable (strong) stable (place).

    [Joanna]

  • The walls around me pale as ever as I looked down to the almost equally pale body lying in front of me.

The doctors told me how you had been on your way home when the driver hit you. He was drunk and didn't watch where he was going.

They weren't sure if you would make it. The one thing I need to hear from them to know that you would be ok, is that you are in stable condition.

  • There was a horse and he had no idea about what a horse was suppose to do in life, what with Ceiling Cat being the deity and that. He took Prozac because he hated being unstable in his stable, night after night. He's much more stable now.

    [emzi]

  • Stablity. I don't think I am stable. Well, maybe I am. In a way, the words I label myself with are not actually who I am. I just say it to... conform? Be special? I don't really know. I must say that I do have immense mood swings sometimes, but I don't know if that qualifies me as not stable.

    [Lida Wang]

  • stable is as stable does. I feel the instability of my life hitting against my face. I fear. I seek. I am stable and yet not complete. Instable.

    [Leslie]

  • stable like where horses live? eat straw and all that nonsense... and stable like when you're secure and know where you are. like the cliche of a wife and a house and being a wife and having a house. houses for horses.

    [dolly]

  • She ran, stumbling tripping over the gravel but catching herself everytime. She had no time to fall. She only had time to escape.

And very little time at that.
She burst in the barn doors and ran over to the stall.

    Her moments were gone.

    [Shen]

  • she was stable sitting in a chair, strapped down with chains.

her mind was just the opposite.

raging wars went on inside the small space of her head.

    horses are kept in stables.

to be stable also means, to be... well rounded? i dunno.
    to be in place.
    to be strong.
    unshaken.

    horses are kept in stables.
    as well as other animals.
    but mostly horses
    and your mother.
    stables
are also meant to be very strong
    to protect one's horses.
if they weren't strong, the horses would die.

  • Your mind is not stable. You know you're not okay right now. Why won't you just admit it? Why won't you just back up and go back to the days when you were okay with taking your medication? Why do you have to be so stubborn? I just want what's best for you and your unstable mind right now scares the living hell out of me. Please baby, please just face your disorder tonight.

    [Camille]

  • Am I stable? Stability is what we all seek; the house in the country, the white-picket fence. What brings it? The gun in your closet, the cosy government job, the dependable man you married in place of the one who serviced you far better, loved you harder? Stability is a prayer and a ploy.

    [Ver]

  • The stable of the mythical beasts was crafted from pure gold spun from sunshine. Zeus' steeds thuddered through the stable, let loose the unknowing Elf. Fire shot from their eyes, and their hooves rocked the ground with thunder.

"Who dares?" Zeus' voice boomed out.

The stable doors opened and the thief saw

    [John Miller]

  • a place horses live - a heart beats condition - a level platform ie a bar table and the need for no bar mats?

    [andy_huckle]

  • Stable as in a horses stable, or mentally or physically stable? Personally, the horse stable sounds better and doesnt force me to address my own personal issues of job, economics and relationships! But I cant ride a horse for toffee either soo, loose lose situation!

    [Elise]

  • I would be happy to be just be stable on the dance floor on a regular basis. I guess I have that mostly nailed down. Of course, financial stability is always good too. I would like a 53 Buick that will be stable going down the road....

    [Jesse Wolf]

  • the stability of our country is at stake. we must throw the government over a cliff. rebuild. take back what belongs to us. GOD save the USA. Crack is whack and we are back. Afros, asian, wetbacks and crackers unite to provide hope for our country.

  • Stability is so many things to so many people. The same is true with the word vague.
To him stability was nothing. Stability was what those who had given up on adventure and love and happiness told themselves they had always wanted. He thought himself heroic for his lack of use for stability, his full beleif in the idea of living balls out or die trying. Yet was his fear of being normal, average, stable, any worse the the normal's fear, the average's fear of being extraordinary?

    [Barbara]

  • I couldn't think of anything to say at the time that would make my stability any better than what my nervous ticks ruined. I had no way of getting out of the warehouse alive if they suspected anything, and that was something I was becoming more comfortable with. If this is where I'd die, at least I'd have the oddly placed stained glass windows surrounding me, illuminating my body like 3-d glasses.

    [rys]

  • I went to the stable, smelling the horse manure, and hay. There was something comforting about the familiarity of the situation. It brought back to me memories of childhood, spent with my great and uncle who were more grandparents to me than my actual grandparents. Time spent horseback riding, drinking RC cola, and watching Disney movies.

    [M]

  • I'm not stable. I'm like the ocean, churning, weaving in and out to everything. Everything molds me, changes me--even if I disagree with you, you'll still change my life. I want to be stable. I want to stand firm, like a rock, and anything that comes my way will not move me. My religion says that Christ is the rock.

    [alison]

  • my feelings aren't stable these days; they're a roller coaster; one minute i'm riding the high at the top, right before the fall; the next i'm at the bottom, disappointed, looking for more; so many things on my mind and no idea of what the real answer is; it's a real amusement park upstairs, unpredictable

    [Jen M]

  • Life was never good to us,
    Wars, violence, crime.
Then they feed us this hope called religion
    God...
    Stabliity....

    [Malou Jaggli]

  • Stability, the backbone of a healthy like. It puts the spin in quantum and the truth in gravity. Stability is the read haired, blue eyed step child that is constantly confused for stupidity, the good for nothing brother that got all the luck.

    [Mike]

  • hey!!!! how boput a new word???doersn't this really defeat the purpose of this writing exercise? I am sooooo ambivalent about this word. People THINK I am the picture of stability.... when the real truth is that I am one blink away from a breakdown. the loonie bin.. or a really innapropreoate belly laugh. Hey you should know that I really don't know how to type. so this may be loaded with misspellings. how unstable**** of me...... who doesn't know how to type? evetryone seems to..... it makes me feel slightly out of step, dare I say it, unstable to face the cold truth that I can't type!!!!!! • Up in the hayloft, Margo looked down. She still couldn’t believe she had managed to loose the knots and make her way out of the cellar. When she found herself outside, she was lost. This place was in the middle of nowhere, shrouded by trees and a dark night sky. The only light was the twinkle of a coach light in the distance, there she found the old stable and waited. Hours. Yet the sun stayed hidden by a veil of black.

    Where am I, she thought.

    [Angelique]

  • stable...i guess nothing is stable in this world.everything keeps on changing..from the universe to our everyday lifestyle.

    [PRIYA]

  • Stable. Unstable. The kind of unstable that generates a feeling of comfort. The kind of stable that reminds you of normality, not this surreal stability of this cookie-cutter life.

I dunno, that was the best oneword entry I've come up with in my opinion.

    [Andriano]

  • the were wild horses in the stable that evening but nothing was more wild than the sound coming from down the corridor. You see, the stable is haunted by Mrs. Devereaux, the woman who was murdered there seven years previous. The only witness, the wild horses..and her husband, the one who commit the horrific crime.

    [sara]

  • stability is overrated. It has a role, no doubt. It's important in furniture, and parenting. But stability in relationships is also confining, stifling. It's not terrible. Some of it is good. But it can become boredom.

    [E]

  • He was in stable condition. under the influence of drugs, I had stabbed the only man I've loved truly and now he was lying on the bed with his eyes shut. As I stood there I just wished that I would be able to see the beautiful periwinkle blue again.

    [Amy]

  • A stable is a place where you are locked in a 4x4 area, ground solid and directly underneath. It is a comfort, a refuge, a shelter. It is home: a place that can both ensnare and serve as solace, hold you and then deliver a steel-toed kick to the teeth.

    [coriolis]

  • im feeling pretty stable today. no more worries. just feeling content and good with my current state.

    [kit]

  • What I wouldn't give for a balanced life. To not stress over the little things, or worry that you're devoting too much time to this but not enough to that. To know, just know that what you're doing is what you're supposed to be doing, and not have to doubt and second guess yourself all the time. To not always feel on the verge, but stable on your own two feet.

    [Brenna]

  • This is where horses live but its more commonly associated with things staying the same.
People who have had a horrible accident but don't look like they're going to die in the near future are often described as being in a stable condition, which is comforting to their family but it means things aren't getting better as well as not getting worse.

    [Lorna Nicol]

  • Though working through night and day at a job that I like in an environment I love, i don't think I can count myself as stable.
That said, what is stability anyway? Is it the stereotype or what suits you?

    [jk]

  • stable? unstable!

    [miriam]

  • One only wishes to be stable, both mentally and physically. The ideal to not have the intentions to hurt yourself or hurt others makes you stable in the eyes of most people. Instability kills, and proves that you are weak and cannot overcome your own emotions or values.

    I'm not stable.

    [Senchii]

  • A kicked the shit out this horse to death. I had to, cuz he broke my stable. That cunt! I oughtta kick his ass!

    [tits]

  • The horses were restless in their stable as the wind started picking up in advance of the rain. Nattie walked down the center aisle, patting and cooing to each horse in turn, offering carrots and apple slices. The rain was long overdue. Weeks of dry weather had left the grass and training rings brown and withered.

    [c'est moi]

  • THE stable was the place of horses. It also is seated with meaning of assurance. If you rode the horse from the stable you could be sure that the horse would eventually want to come home to his stable. On the other hand, you want your husband to be stable and accountable. So that when you send him to the grocery, you are sure he will return to the house. Of the two, the horse if probably the most stable!

    [Glenn]

  • The woman leaning over the bar picked up her whiskey sour and took a large gulp. Down the way, a bearded man watched her, sipping slowly at a mint julip.

She turned, blonde hair waving and glinting in the dysmal light of the bar. He felt a knife rip through his insides, down to his balls. A shaft of pain sliced through him, and with it a bucketful of joy.

    She finally saw him

    [Temporary]

  • Empty mind...

    Yourself...trying to escape
Felling like an aminal in a stable
    The stable is called life
