it was wrapped around me like a young tree wraps around that stick that holds it up in the ground. my knee brace was tight, and it really loved me. whenever i played basketball, it held me up and let me grow… embracing me.

i used to own a lot of plaid things. that was back in day when i thought plaid was super cool. like 8 months ago. it was nice to wear things i thought were cool. then, i just abandoned that style when i was done. it’s funny to me. so fleeting, yet so seemingly satisfying.
