My team. My crew. My family. I could never choose a better group to play lacrosse with. I will be by their sides anytime anyone tries to hurt them. I love them and how far they’ve come.

“Write about any persons who’ve helped you throughout your life.” That’s what the writing assignment said. I never did understand why Mrs. Karr wrote persons instead of people.

He seemed to be keen on breaking down the walls I had built up. Breaking through them until nothing was left except a pathway to my fragile heart.

On that dreary day, I stared out the window, at the rain pouring down and marveled at the idea of school ending in a rainy day, and opening into summer, full of happiness, fun and sweet romance.
