You all tell me your lies and swear me to secrecy, leaving me holding onto your guilt. Completely oblivious to the guilt and lies I quietly hold onto myself. Truthfully, I love you too much to open you up to the pain that the truth will bring. I’m protecting you and in a way protecting myself too. My silence holds us all together. For now.
