It would have been silly for Wal to quit. Hell, it would have been silly for him to do anything but soldier on in that godforsaken jungle, searching for his dreams.
Wal was a man with a purpose, although most of the time he didn’t know what his purpose was, but did things in the name of that mysterious purpose. Not a porpoise. That’s different.
