I realize why I always had that fixation on moving around all my furniture… it was because… it never felt like home. I was just trying to make the place seem comfier, warmer, safer. Maybe moving and shifting and reorganizing would make my room feel like my home. And it did. For a little while after I would redesign my entire room, it would feel like my room. But not long after, it returned to what it really was. A cold shell, memories strewn about the place, making it unbearable sometimes to even be there.
