It was already known that this district in the Bronx had the highest rate of new asthma cases of any other neighborhood in the country and trying to dump another manufacturing plant in its midst would not be easy.

Active Users Of oneword 8 months, 2 weeks agoNot sure of the suns that maybe mine, are the suns that will be yours. Those suns that are known are much too bright to label and the suns that are not known are not in view just yet. Perhaps we share their origins, perhaps we don’t.
Next week non sun planets and why they keep their distance from Earth? Read chapter 7 in preparation.-

Dingus, was this post intended for the haiku game? You’ve posted it on the home page of the group instead of the forum. Of course, if that was purposeful then ignore this and assign me extra homework. >_< << (Is squinty/pouty face)

If spas were democratic everyone would be a people’s person. Since spa’s are more republican than democratic they are the enclaves of the 99% who like to feel good. Does that make spas more democratic than […]

All the air has been sucked out of the dialogue and the dehydrated participants try and exchange their remaining saliva for meaning.

Ducktown Clown Quintet-It would be my luck that when I decided to enter the area of mixed media this was the only group I could find in my price range. It was bad enough I had to travel to their home town to speak with them but they had never heard of house numbers or zip codes.
So finding anything was a challenge. As soon as I got off the train getting anyone to answer me as to where I might find the Ducktown Clown Quintet was hopeless.
Added to that they only had one home improvement store and they carried only one type of door and exterior siding. If I hadn’t been looking for somewhere to have lunch I probably would never had run into them.
Here they are trying their hand at Dixieland while advertising their availability for funerals. They are a dedicated lot but I think too all over the place for my project. -

Of all the magazines available I pick Popular Mechanics the Scientology Edition. Talk about a fish out of water tools and space ships. I am lucky if I can find the channel Startreck is on.

In the zone, words just flowing, sweat not building and peace out. All expunged in 15 seconds. This maybe the writing form of the future.

Poetry 9 months, 2 weeks agoStarted re-reading Rimbaud. The bright fire he burned himself alive with and set so many others alight with, still there, after 40 year absence. Reading his poetry side by side with his contemporaries is a lesson worth enrolling in the class for.

Active Users Of oneword 9 months, 2 weeks agoThere is a new form looking to find its legs. Prose by its nature likes to have length and attachments of thoughts one to the other. Poetry needs precision and less words but just as strongly attached and more directly feeding each other. Modern attention spans require less time and more headlines. Thus the gestating prose poem in 25 words or less. Modern haiku without the rhyming rules.

Texts’s again. Need to set the clock ahead and not sign in too soon. Wind up in a groundhog day of repeating the same word over and over. Need to find a thesaurus.

Dingus commented on the post, texts 9 months, 2 weeks ago
The texts were not written in any language I knew of. They were just tidbits of power exercised by the thumb enhanced. Maybe I needed to rethink the need to read at all.
