    i am thinking about u.s. politics how about so many politicians want to divide and conquer. think tea party, right wing christian leaders. they point to others and never to themselves, never see room for improvement. instead of divide, we need to multiply love/forgiveness/acceptance…

    my childhood was spent at the beach. corona del mar, lido island, huntington, shell beach, seal beach. they were so small and quaint, and not like now. i treasure those memories. and those friends.

    the sky in this valley, the high desert, often takes on a bleached blue look. the meteorologists say it is a marine layer. marine layer? IN THE DESERT? HAH! i don’t like the sky-bleached-blue.

    i picked up the bleach from the store shelf and placed it in my cart. i got to the checker later on and my hand was wet. i looked down at my favorite periwinkle blue pants, and they were streaked white from the leaky bleach container.

    there is a dry wash behind me. i call it a barranca. it is the conduit for all of the wildlife coming down from the paiutes. the evenings are awash in the wail of the coyotes. we have bobcats, bears, and mountain lions visit the neighborhood.
