I believe our president is one of the most down to earth presidents. He has also done something that most candidates would have never done. He gave LGBT people rights. Not all that we deserve but he has started and helped our movement.

Locks remind me of safety. It also reminds me of my home. We always lock our doors and it brings on a sense of safety.
    Lock. Lock.
    John Locke. Enlightenment. Natural rights.

When I think of manager I think of someone who has authority.
It could also mean someone who manages their life.
A manager would be someone who has control and a sense of authority. It’s sort of like a label, as well as a job position.
    Managers are people.

Megaphones always remind me of squeaky gyms and loud people. I’ve never used a megaphone but I guess that’s okay. I want to be loud without something helping me out. Y’know, if that makes any sense.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will always kill me. I just made that up. I’m sure someone else has before but– Sticks used to be my favorite toy at parks. I would collect a lot of them and make small piles. I would also want to poke all the other kids [...]

I don’t know how I feel about the word cigarette. People are always trying to quit smoking. Cigarettes are used to make people look more sophisticated and cool. I guess, to each their own. Sure, they’re unhealthy but you aren’t guaranteed lung cancer.

I believe this generation seriously lacks etiquette. Before, people were highly criticized for not being mindful of their manners. Now, people are rude and show no sign of class. Etiquette needs to become the new fashion, desperately.

When I hear this word I think of the Black Plague. I had to do a project about it for school once and it was terrible. The disease, not the project. I found it so strange how no one could find a cure for it. It must have been terrible to walk around your neighborhood [...]

  • Delaney wrote about the word mean 1 year, 11 months ago

Mean is such a childish word to explain when someone is being harsh. Or at least that’s my take on it.
But mean can also be used to explain something.
    Everything has a MEANing.
Mean is a strange little word, isn’t it?

Nothing really. I really want to write something.

  • Delaney wrote about the word expecting 1 year, 11 months ago

When you expect something, you run the risk of getting your heart broken or not. You expect something good to happen and then it doesn’t and you’re just like, wow, that was terrible. Expectations can either make you or break you. True story, fellas.

Chores are horrible. I hate them because it requires work. I don’t like to do work because I am incredibly lazy. Lazy doesn’t go well with chores.
