Why write your own story when you can make up someone else’s? Who was that old man on the subway with a limp in his right leg, and missing half his ear? Was he beaten as a child? Was he a Prisoner of War? Did he fight in World War II? Or perhaps, he’s just a crazy painter. What about that teenage girl who just climbed into that young man’s car? Was that her boyfriend? Brother? Best friend? What’s her drive home going to be like? Is she even going home?
