“Ah, well, it’s pain killers, I have a killer headache.”

Angela frowned as the tip of her fingers grazed the jar on the top shelf. How was she suppose to get the stupid thing if Deviant forbade her from using the barstool (”You’ll get it dirty with your feet, not happening.”)?
”Need a lift, little lady?” Before she could answer, William wrapped his arms around her and hoisted her up long enough for her to snatch the jar off the shelf.

Koi-Madethline wasn’t anywhere near as violent as her siblings so it was to the surprise of no one that she didn’t carry a sword or other sharp weapon around with her. Little did they know that her choice of weapon was the unusually large wrench she kept in her back pocket.

Angela felt her heart stop when her nightlight suddenly cut off. It wasn’t as if the bulb died (she replaced it last week) but something switched it off. She screamed in terror as she heard someone laugh menacingly from somewhere in the darkness.

“I’m the kind of person,” Deviant started, watching Angelo fool around with the electrical box outside. “who will let you poke at the electrical socket with a copper penny and not warn you about it so you learn you lesson.”
