Leverage. I have always hated that word. I don’t know why. I just don’t like the way that it sounds. Maybe it has bad connotations to me or something, I don’t know. I just don’t have good feelings about it.

I just wasn’t a sure as I wanted to be. About anything. About my friends. About my personality. About living. I wasn’t even sure if I was being to cliche about not being sure. I’m honestly pretty sure all teenagers feel unsure. If we already felt sure, how would we grow?

This was it. By night, I would be following the railroad. Maybe I would find my imaginary friend made real. Maybe I could fly kites in fields where no one cares.
