What will become of us?
We feed off loving lust
We’re a land of dark places
Merely a sanctuary of blank facesThe mirror was shattered
Destroying all that mattered
Society spared a lucky few,
But left me with a distorted viewAll day under the magnifying glass
I find a friend in my sheets alas
A mind so suffocated it can’t get out
The cumbersome body just floats aboutWill we ever love the one they want?
Can happiness exist without a blunt?
Can we eat without seeing it again?
Can we drink without a splash of sin?A million frowns to one smile
Saving us will take a while
An interesting idea.
