TTGG wrote about the word icicle 1 year, 6 months ago
I don’t know what to say about icicles, but I’ll try. I love the cold and loved the snow days and seeing icicles back in the day. When you’re an adult, you don’t appreciate it, to say the least, but it was so wonderful during my childhood.

TTGG wrote about the word cigarette 1 year, 10 months ago
My dad smoked cigarettes as I grew up, and I never minded them (I guess I was immune to the smell, at least to an extent.) Now, though, I hate the smell and cannot get used to it. I smell people who have been smoking and it just smells nasty.

I’ve never been much for scarves. I live in Georgia and though it does get cold here, it’s just not exactly frigid weather, so they’re not needed quite as much.

TTGG wrote about the word example 2 years, 2 months ago
I always need examples. It’s extremely difficult to do a lot without having examples to go on. I am pretty good at looking at examples, but it’s not too easy when I have nothing to look at and go by.

I’m reminded of how important control is in video games. Games that control terrible just don’t tend to be fun. However, a game that controls flawlessly is awesome (nothing quite like Mario for this.)

TTGG wrote about the word final 2 years, 2 months ago
I’m reminded of the stress that I felt around finals. Even in history classes where I knew the material, I would stress, but other classes, such as math and science, had me losing sleep and studying to the point that it all bled together. I don’t know how I passed some of those, given how [...]

TTGG wrote about the word specific 2 years, 2 months ago
I like for people to be specific, as a rule. Be it with driving directions, to-do lists, most any instructions, it’s often hard to understand something that is too vague. When callers at my job aren’t specific about what they want, that creates problems, too.

TTGG wrote about the word basic 2 years, 2 months ago
I’m reminded of my 10th grade computer programming class, which used BASIC. The technology was primitive (as it also was for the typing and excel classes that I took), but I enjoyed it. I never learned much, but I learned a little bit and enjoyed the class a good bit.

TTGG wrote about the word cheap 2 years, 2 months ago
I absolutely adore getting cheap video games. It’s odd that new games can cost $60 (and there is cause for getting new games), but even the best games of this generation (Bioshock, MGS4, Resistance, etc.) can run only $15-$20 these days. And the classics from the past, which are just as good today as ever, [...]

TTGG wrote about the word keychain 2 years, 2 months ago
I rarely have interesting keychains. I have one now that I got from Pokerstars that has a little flashlight on it. That’s very good for looking for things in the dark, and since my trunk’s light no longer work, it’s valuable for getting groceries at night or something.

I love seeing exciting outlet passes on a basketball court. Seeing a rebounding and a good outlet pass to start a fastbreak makes for the best kind of basketball-running and using numbers for a good, quick paced, athletic, exciting game.

TTGG wrote about the word cards 2 years, 3 months ago
I played cards a little in high school, but I didn’t know what I was doing at all (to a laughable extent.) Around the age of 23, for what reason I don’t completely recall, I quickly fell in love with poker and dove head first into learning the game. After about seven years, I can [...]

TTGG wrote about the word invent 2 years, 3 months ago
I’ve never been inventive, sadly. I was always much better at following very direct directions to do a task, never very able to think outside the box in creative or inventive ways. I could never see things in that way.

My grandma made things from wool. They were warm and just so nice to wrap up in on a cold night. Wool is just a nice fabric to help stay warm.

I do love chocolate, perhaps a little to much. I like Kit Kats and Reeses and Three Muskateers. However, I don’t like it being too terribly rich.

TTGG wrote about the word charge 2 years, 3 months ago
I’ve never been one to be in charge. I never feel that comfortable with people looking to me for answers to for direction. It’s not that I’m not confident in my abilities or knowledge, but I’m always worried about rubbing people the wrong way, and I always just hate to do that.

TTGG wrote about the word fragrance 2 years, 3 months ago
I am a simple man, so I don’t know much about different fragrances. I wish I did, as it might be helpful to know about, but it’s just not something that I’ve ever really known. I have trouble distinguishing smells, as a rule, though.

TTGG wrote about the word alarm 2 years, 3 months ago
Hearing my familiar alarm in my memories reminds me of my time in college, waking up to it every day. It was a different time and somehow, I slept through the loud buzzing of it every now and then, but I at least usually woke up.

TTGG wrote about the word controller 2 years, 3 months ago
I love controllers. Some are great, like the perfect PS2/3 controller or the sleek and wonderful 360 one. Some, like the N64 one, is uncomfortable and at times, feels incredibly hard to play with. However, my favorite is the classy, classic SNES controller. Not only is it the design on which ones now are based, [...]

When I need a boost, my fiance never fails to provide it. When I’m unsure if I can do something, or down on myself, or just nervous or apprehensive about anything, really, she always provides a much needed boost to me.
