Society harasses those who are too extreme with their differences. They ridicule the extreme uniqueness. Because they themselves are part of the ”norm” of society. They aren’t near the line that has been laid down. Though if you play it too safe, you will be branded as boring. As a cookie cutter, run of the mill, plain jane or average joe. You will be told that you aren’t special enough. So no matter what, we can not win this struggle. Everyone envies each other; for the things that they themselves do not posses. No matter who we are, we will never be good enough. So then why do we try so hard to please everyone, when all we can be is ourselves?
