Aujourd’hui, j’ai oublié mon nom. Je ne m’en suis pas rendu compte tout de suite, car, en fin de compte, le quotidien demande assez peu de name dropping.

adore
Mom says we should only use ‘adore’ for God, and so everytime I use it otherwise I feel a twinge of guilt. What is it to adore something? I have that idea of a person who- everytime you experience a moment of joy in your life- you want to share it with them. Is that what it means to adore someone? And if so, maybe it is a God word.
