fuses
The fuses went off like fireworks exploding into the night. Boom! Pow! It left in its wake a fiery sensation of pity and grievance. Something no one can bear to stand… At least as long as you aren’t in the flames. I wasn’t it the flames… I got the sick joy of watching. I’m proud to say, it filled me with a love-hate longing.

Tangle means that something is knotty or snarled. My hair is always tangled so it always has a knot or two. Tangles are always in my hair wether I like it or not. To tangle something you could tie it or make a mess of it.

Blotches on her skin made her one of them. She stood out in any crowd, even if she tried to disguise herself. They all hated her for what she was and she feared them. She was no longer human, no longer herself. She traveled from town to town, searching for others like herself with no luck. She was terrified.
