antlers

moose have antlers, they are awesome. I am afraid they will poke out my eye. Moose are vicious and stuff. But still, I’d like to have one. My friends dad had a dead moose head on the wall, it was sad.

held

to be held in someone’s arms for hours is the best feeling. when you just lay there, without a care in the world. it’s beautiful, really.

I have a turquoise backpack. I bought it because it reminds me of my best friend in high school. We used to joke about how we were always covered in our favorite colors, me in red her in turquoise.

mint

Mint. What to say about Mint! There’s mint chocolate chip ice cream, which is quite tasty in my opinion. It’s my favorite I’d have to say. Then there is the breath mints.. Which can help you sometimes.. but I’d rather brush my teeth then rely on a mint to keep my mouth fresh. I’m not sure where this is going.

forgotten

I remember that day sitting on the front steps of the church with Erica Mejia. Her mom left her. Just drove away. I wondered what it felt like for her. Being forgotten. Left behind. Alone. I cried with her that day.

heel

The footsteps fell silently amidst the pitter-patter of the rain on the tin roof. Funny how the rain can muffle the world; can soften the pain of watching you walk away. I hate the rain.

acoustic

the lovely sound that emits from guitars and pianos and vocal chords. It can be as beautiful and melodious as the or of the wind in the willows or as dischordant as the first cries of a newborn babe fresh from the womb. or a combination of both. beautiful either way

bookshelf

It was gone! Just like that I had lost the last fifteen years of my life to someone I had never even met. I was so horrified that it took me at least five minutes to realize where I was and why exactly all this was happening. But to explain that to you, I’ll have to explain everything that happened before that also.

thirst

My thirst for the feeling of being loved was strong enough to pull a tidal wave. Since I had never experienced either of those, my hopes were pretty low.

being stuck in a desert would suck. You would be really thirsty. You need water to survive.. actually I guess you could live for a few days.. depending on the heat.. that would really suck. i don’t know what to write. I need some lemonade. that sounds delicious. Flowers need water to live. I should just stop, I’m just rambling on and on.

alumni

the college alumni was very happy that she could make such a great donation to her college. The college students were very happy, and after that, the alumni took her kids to visit and in hopes they would attend . it was such a lovely place.

connected

It’s funny the things that connect you to others. Whether it’s hair color, a name, intimacy-there is always something to be connected. Now whether or not you expand on this connection to actually make it something truly special-that my friend, is your choice. Connections are everywhere, it’s up to us to use them to their upmost potential.

Connected. Romantically I’ll never live this one down. I’m connected and cannot let go.

digital

Thermometers are awesome when digital. Especially when they don’t take hours and hours. However, they’re also less accurate. Similarly, blood pressures are better when they’re manual as opposed to automatic with digital readings. Simpler to read the numbers, sure, but certainly not as accurate when you’re depending on a machine to listen to a pulse for you.

scarves

In the world of fashion one of the largest and fastest growing trends across the world are scarves. Of course it may seem suprising that I would know this. Whenever people see my clothes they just laugh or walk away whispering to whoever accompanies them. I always mean to go get one of the new fashions trends but for some reason i always forget! ( 15 yr old w/ Alzheimers and doesn’t figure out til the end of book)

statement

I’ve made my choice and am now prepared to share my statement with the rest of the country. Well, not exactly the country but the majority of my grade that were forced to come by over protective parents or just waiting to see a canidate that was pathetic enough not to notice the laughing kids and sometimes even staff.

I was so close! A couple more inches, a little more practice, or a little less food, I could have won. Almost?

specific

Its what I need when you tell me I’m wrong- specify an example. I can’t handle the vague “You always do…” answer. I need you to say “You left the light on this morning when you left the house.”

cheap

I ripped off the tag, $8.99, a new high for my mom to spend on me. Pearls, diamonds, and clothes fit for royalty. Are you kidding? This isn’t a description of me, but of my mother who never truly loves me. Rags, plastic, and clothes fit for a poor peasant who had lost their way. I had, its true. I used to be a young spirit filled with ideas of happiness and unity as a family. All of a sudden it hit. My father left my family when I was only a baby in the womb, Eli was 3, Juli 5, and Deri 6.

keychain

I have a rubiks cube keychain… i love it and everyone is obsessed with it. My sister used to collect keychains. it was so tacky and she hung it from her classy looking pursepack( a backpack purse, they were cool back then… okay they never were that cool.)

I think one is the most you can get away with.

strong

people are strong. especially after they’ve been broken. because to become stronger, one must become broken somehow. strength is in numbers occasionally and people need other people to survive. strenght is important. people are strong, but sometimes the strongest are the weakest of them all. think about it.

fragrance

The fragrance of the daisies he got me for my birthday were beautiful. It really made me feel special, and that’s exactly what I need that warm June day. I’m a triplet, the quietest and most forgotten of the bunch. Yes my beauty did mesmerize some people temporarily. But only temporary. They would always expect that a young beautiful girl like me would want to be an actress or singer. But no, I had other plans in mind. I want to be writer. I love finding things that people would never think to be interesting and trying to make it as much fun to read and learn about as possible. I’ve been practicing lately with writing long articles on terrorist attacks against the United States. Not quite where I want it yet, but somewhat close.

wrench

A wrench is something you tighten screws with. At least the technical term. You could be a wrench like some homeless person, or maybe that just sounds like it….I’m not too sure. This word is boring though. I’m finished.

drain

My emotions were leaving me heavily. I couldn’t control it; nothing made sense anymore. It was as if every ounce of knowledge I’d acquired had abandoned me. I didn’t know where to go, what to do or who to talk to. I didn’t know strangers from acquaintances or friends from enemies. Everything was black and white and grey like those movies I’d always seen. That’s all I could remember, actually. Watching those movies, they brought me back to a time where nothing had to be remembered because it would all be repeated. I longed for that feeling again. Emotions, memories, feelings, it was all drained from me.
