cow
fat and milky. that’s what her mother told her the cow was. so the milkmaid trotted out to milk the fat old thing, but saw that the neighbor’s boy had already gotten to it, and was drinking from his purloined pail. she chased him around the field with a broom; but he managed to slip away to his home.

startled
i awoke from an agitated sleep to find that i was a very large insect. i had fully human thoughts and reasonings, but i found myself trapped inside of the corpulent exoskeleton of a giant bug. i wondered how i would ever make my train on time. where would i sit?

evidence
It’s sitting right there, and it’s so obvious. You think we’re stupid, that we don’t know what’s going on, but when the pong balls are dropping on the floor and we hear cans crack, we know there’s a party about to be busted. And don’t whisper “Shh, shh, it’s the RA!” because we can hear that too.

wanting
Wanting is inevitable. Desire drives us. Desire drives us to do anything and everything. From the good choices to the bad ones, we make them simply because we desire the repercussions.

hidden
I often feel hidden from the world. I suppose it’s because I choose to hide myself. It’s just easier that way. If noone knows you they can’t hurt you. Except they still can. I wish I knew how to come out of hiding. But i’ve hidden myself so well that I don’t even know where I am anymore.

When we were younger the world was a mystery. We had questions 24/7 that we needed an answer to. And when there was yet none we made our own. We believed our own and we lived by that.

feathered
Hello there, my fine feathered friend. Are you fine on this fabulous day? Freakishly enough, I am too. Friends are few and far between. Fah! You are my fine feathered foe! Fooled me, Fred. Fooled you, Fiona. Far-fetched? Fine. Fear not! And focus.

proud
“I always knew I was proud of you,” Samantha said to her son. “You climbed the monkey bars on the playground better than any of the other kids out there. That’ll show them who’s the boss in the neighborhood!”
Jordan looked down at his shoelaces. How could he tell his mom that he wasn’t proud of his feat? Sure, he mastered the playground equipment and was now a self-proclaimed King of the Playground, but that wasn’t what he really wanted. He didn’t want to be different from the other kids, the ones who weren’t able to climb.

The one thing that I can tolerate while driving is the view and in Georgia, along side our highways, we have wildflowers that were planted by our D.O.T. It can really make for a spectacular view in certain more desolate areas of Georgia or even in areas where you might least expect to see a huge crop of wildflowers.

They were running through a field that had thick grass and windpower towers every fifty feet. The night was filled with stars and the moon illuminated their two figures. The wildflowers were the only witnesses.

brick
Building a house. A very sturdy, strong, American looking house. Like one from the suburbs. With a white picket fence and a playground in the backyard.

napkin
it can be folded different ways, into an airplane, into a rose and even into a sailors hat. It has a lot of potential to become something great to be used liek cleanign yourself after dinner or using it to wipe the counter. If it is left on the floor it can be eatenby one’s pet or just someone might pick it up and throw it out.

i think of a treacherous pathway. or maybe a creepy character on an overdramatic adventure movie saying that the main character must go on a “treacherous journey” to find what he is seeking

cone
The cone was in the middle of the road and I was driving fast, so fast until I hit it and all of the sudden my car made the most disgusting screeching noise so I pulled over to the side of the road as Cameron could not contain her laughter. It’s stuck! I yelled as a stuck my head under the car.

major
Oh, life is bigger It’s bigger than you, and you are not me. the band REM? That’s from their song Losing My Religion. Love that song. Sometimes life seems too major too handle. A cliche in itself, but still. Has to be said.

the spot on her glasses prevented her from clearly seeing what was right infront of her face. that this is what she’d been looking for all along. this was it, what she’d spent her entire life pining for, but never understanding. the spot blocked her view, and she passed it by.

burst
don’t burst my bubble or rain on my parade. this is a world of cliches and we’re all just enablers. we let things happen to us when we really do have the power to stop it. nature versus nurture. both are equally important. free will is real to an extent. you can’t blame everything on divine intervention. god has no plan for you, you’re not that important.
