Pants and shoes and Roots Canada. Roots used to specialize in making leather products. This also reminds me of an old person and all of the things that they have gone through in their life to make them leathery. Leather is old and worn and precious. There isn’t much more to say about it.

What is cool? We think it is a description of that which we find appealing and entertaining but if we take a close look at the word it seems to be about temperature. Literally. And why should we define something good as cold? We need warmth to function, but in lieu of the recent global waming developments we suddenly need things to be cooler. Who woul’ve guessed that a colloquialism from the 1900′s would predict a major world catastrophe, even though by chance. My how we must surprise ourselves, no wonder we aren’t immortal.

Last night Laurie gave me a bracelet. Her mum made it. She said it’s her hobby. It’s green, orange, and purple in colour. All my favourite hues! It got little plastic beads as well in chromatic colours. I dont know why I’m just describing it but the bracelet is just nice. I wanna learn how she does it. But most of all I wanna know how I can tie it onto my wrist…

I like crisp french fries. Not them stupid potatoey thick cut steak fries but crispy strips of oily potato. With pepper ketchup. About 4 packets per tablespoon I would say.

Some days my life seems pretty dull lately. I really only go to class and do school work. I mean, obviously I do more than just that. I don’t go out much though. I watch a lot of stuff on hulu. I go for walks every day. I read a lot. But it still seems pretty dull. Maybe it’s the lack of social interaction outside of class.

Warfare… warfare. Chemical warfare? Makes me think of chemistry then. I love and hate chemistry. It makes me happy that I’m not in science any more, but there’s also parts that I miss. I love learning some awesome chemistry things, but overall I don’t think I miss it.

I love to give advice. Whatever it is, its great to feel I helped anyuone. It makes me feel like I actually made some kind of difference in the world. Even if its little, even if for everybody else its no important. I like to believe I have a good head, and that Im aactually in some way an influential person. The greatest compliment you can give me is I benefited from this thing you told me the other day.

We always look to other people for advice. Never to ourselves. We give advice to others. Never to ourselves. I think there are times when we don’t trust ourselves to make the right decisions. We need others to justify our decisions for us. I think it’s time to start trusting ourselves.

History always repeats itself, right? That’s what we’re always told? I agree. I graduated from high school and wasn’t sure that I wanted to go into marine biology. Sophomore year of college I switched to Aquaculture. Graduated from college and now I don’t want to do aquaculture. So I’m going to go into student affairs or something along that line.
