soap
I remember when I was little. I always wanted to have a bath. I mean, what was my obsession with cleanliness!? I mean, I wanted to use up the whole soap bar, all of the bubble bath, a whole cupful of shampoo and conditioner for like, a few centimeters of hair… Yeah. I was a real sensible child.

electrocute
To be electrocuted would be painful. I was once told of an electrician who was electrocuted on the job; it left blue marks in the palm of his hands and at the soles of his feet.

cliffs
Standing, I stared out, feeling the wind blowing against my back, almost urging me on. To jump. To leave. To sink into the darkness of rocks and water. And wouldn’t that be perfect? I wouldn’t be stuck in this desolate place. I wouldn’t have to live around here.
I wouldn’t have to live in this silly little idealistic place.

leverage
I can leverage my sobriety into the life I want to live, just for today, one day at a time. I leverage my clear mind and strong finances to life my dreams. I am very grateful for the lever.

fabricated
He fabricated a lie so beautiful it made doves cry. The amount of hope it brought to the stupid, simple fools who believe in lovely words so easily was astounding.

plague
Sweep through my body. Infect me with the illness I see in the eyes of happy couples walking hand in hand. If love is contagious, I want to be so sick I can’t stand it.

covert
If I could be a spy and go undercover, I’d plan the most covert operation on the planet. To stop greedy people everywhere, who would rather lie to your face then part with a cent. I would spy, gather intel and move in for the conviction. Meanest person on the planet. Not the title I want for myself, so I’ll just do my best to love everyone.

blasted
If I had a blasted hammer, I’d damn well blast it in the evening and all over this dag blasted land! Now I gotta think of more dang blasted humorous(less) comments to blast my insane brain into submission.

terrain
The terrain today was a challenge. To merely write these two sentences have been a major challenge, but like all good all terrain vehicles, that I am, I pushed on through.

weakling
I am not a weakling, she said. How dare you say such a thing. I only cry when I’m sad, not when I’m angry. That makes me cool, to show my feelings for a cool subject, not you. Are we done yet.

bleeding
Bleeding hearts know that feelings can kill you on the inside. Yes, I am a bleeding heart, but I don’t let it kill me anymore. I just focus on the healing of the internal wounds of suffering for too long.

startled
Oh, wow, you startled me, Startled. You seem so unlike yourself these days. Have you found the new job, new wife, where is your life? Ah, what a wonderful surprise you are and you just startle me.

embellish
On the box there was a rather large embellishment. It was beautiful and protruded just the right amount so that it wasn’t ugly and offensive to the eye but not so much that it wasn’t unoticable. It was sweet and shaped like a flower.

leathery
Leathery, like skin. She has leathery skin? Didn’t we just have a word similar? The leathery man, has lead a full and fruitful life, may be he should write about it? Make it into a three act play about the hero’s journey.

weathered
She had a weathered look about her, as would have been said in the old days; She looks like she was rode hard and put up wet. Yes she had weathered life’s difficulties.

fatigue
Am I tired, I don’t think so, but I am a bit undone at believing in a project but not having the energy to see it through. I feel fatigued like I’ve been running uphill. I’d like to stop trying so hard and just let go.

willed
I willed myself to be positive to think happy thoughts, to live in the belief that the glass is always half full. I will myself not to sink into the negative to believe the worse and to feel helpless. I live in a world that is on my side and I have to will myself to believe this and help it be successful, healthy and true.

flat
Wow, am I flat out lost. It’s so flat here that there isn’t a rolling hill anywhere. I’m thinking flat bread, I’m think the plains of south dakota where I may be moving to. I’m flat concerned.

growing
I’m growing like a weed, into a person of quality and insight. Fun loving and loving are some of the ways that I have grown. No longer fearful and living in the moment. I have grown successfully and keep growing into infinite.

think
I think therefore I am. I loved that I learned early in recovery that 90% of my problems were in my thinking, so now whenever things aren’t going my way, I can look at the situation and realize that it’s my thinking that’s causing most or all of the problems.

husband
I know a husband, he is my dad. He was an okay husband, but a not so good father because of his wife and maybe his own flaws and misconceptions. I don’t want or need a husband, except to lift heavy stuff or change the tire.

wall
We all have walls and there are walls to climb over or to erect. I prefer walls that protect, but don’t keep me from understanding and engaging and communicating. I love seeing walls with murals, which is a metaphor of some kind.

Walls are caving in. There’s a darkness that I’m in. Free from sin I begin, handling my evil twin. Strong build. Can’t stay till. The walls around me falls in.

The cold, tall brick wall enclosing the small community of poeple between it and the parallel wall sometimes feared the people below. The moss that climbed up was a means for escape…

systems
I think systems have some good and bad atttibutes. I like creating systems to get things done. I don’t like entrenched institutionalized systems like our political system because people feel like they can’t do anything about it and that it’s just the way it is. A frocking system that is broken.

features
I have seen features and have seen features. I really like features. I am a very visual person, but remember not to stare. I love features and have my favorite ideas for the features awards show. I don’t know why I felt inclined to see how many times I could say it.

swell
Oh my what a swell word. The swell season comes to mind, the swell of the ocean waves. I feel so swell that I can hardly stand it. Not much use for this word these days, but it should come back as with the old 50′s show leave it to Beaver. Gee Beav that’s swell.

baby
Baby, Hey Baby! Funny I got CPR certified today and holler Baby, Hey Baby at a mannequin baby. That’s all. It was weird, since I have more time to kill, to tap a fake baby and scream Baby, Hey Baby.
