It was severe, the pain burning through her. It rained down on her like the tears threatened to, but she couldn’t let go, couldn’t let them run down her cheeks and plop onto the ground. She bit her lip, choked back her cry, and smacked her head on the table. Once, twice, thrice. She breathed out, breathed in. Why!? Why…Posted By Cheezit On 04.13.2011 @ 9:17 pm
Our consciences are heavier than our egos, or at least we would hope so. Think more about what you’ve done in a bad way, how you can improve yourself, than filling your head with air, thinking about how GREAT you are. How great can you be when all you see is the good, when all you think of is yourself?
Plus, egos make me think of Eggos, yummy….but when you have too much? Well, your stomach hurts. A lot.Posted By Cheezit On 04.01.2011 @ 11:49 pm
However, she knew better. She wanted it, but she knew there was only bad laying beyond what she desired, lusted after. Him – now HE was trouble. He made the Devil look like God’s most trusted angel, which she supposed he had been at one time. She knew what would happen, somewhat, if she went to bed with him.
However…she did not care.Posted By Cheezit On 03.23.2011 @ 10:54 pm
He approached from her right; she heard his paws lightly graze the ground. Tension filled the air, and her breath caught, her lungs and throat constricting tightly. Was he going to say it…?
“We need to talk.” His gruff voice cut through the silence.
“Always so straight to the point,” she chastised. “You should be more gentle.”
His pelt brushed hers, and she winced. “You know I can be,” he whispered directly into her ear, “but you told me to never be nice. You’re the leader; how can I say ‘no’?”
Her retort tangled over itself as his challenging blue eyes shone into hers.Posted By Cheezit On 03.22.2011 @ 10:13 pm
Honesty is the best policy, she laughed silently to herself. I bet they don’t know how untrue that is. Honesty…honesty gets you into these bad situations, like the one I’m in.
The chains on her wrists clinked, and she wished they’d give her something to put her feet on. Hanging naked in the air by her arms was getting tiresome – not to mention boring.Posted By Cheezit On 03.21.2011 @ 9:05 pm
A shape. THE shape. A circle, drawn into the mud, leaves scattered within its confines. Red, orange, yellow, and other various shades glinted in the moonlight streaming in through the treetops, and the shimmering light reflected off them, growing brighter and brighter until it shot straight up to the sky. Blinding.Posted By Cheezit On 03.19.2011 @ 11:22 pm
She wanted it, more than anything in the world. At night, it was what she thought about curled up in the roots of a tree or in a branch or against Tyk or Swift Rain. His love; she wanted his love. If only she were there, if only she could speak to him, be with him. But what would it matter? She was a COWARD, and she knew she’d never stop running away.Posted By Cheezit On 03.18.2011 @ 9:09 pm
The gym was full of people, crowded together, and a din of noise seared her sensitive ears. After all these years, you’d think this noise wouldn’t bother me as much anymore, she thought moodily, but it’s almost as bad as that first day. A headache began to throb, creeping down her neck, and her blue eyes sifted through the mob.Posted By Cheezit On 03.17.2011 @ 9:42 pm
Dark and shadowy, the figure in the doorway growled menacingly. Its red eyes gleamed low to the ground, spitting fire, and the dog backed into the corner whimpered, the fire making his golden coat seem afire. The rat scurried forward, launching forward with immortal speed, its yellow, poisonous teeth bared as they neared the dog’s sensitive throat…Posted By Cheezit On 03.16.2011 @ 9:25 pm
Her heels clicked on the sidewalk as she walked in the crowd, trying to look calm as she frantically searched for his brown hair amongst all the hats and umbrellas. The rain soaked her, leaving her white blouse transparent, and she choked back sobs, unable to spot it. Her heart slammed against her chest, and she felt both it and her breastplate cracking.Posted By Cheezit On 03.15.2011 @ 11:34 pm
The wand glowed, made of rowan wood painstakingly whittled to form the beautiful instrument she now held in her hand, pointed at the black mass floating before her. With another wave and a mutter of ancient words, a icy blast shot from its tip into darkness’s center.Posted By Cheezit On 03.13.2011 @ 8:20 pm
She was obsessed with him. Photos lined her wall, and his shirt was tucked over her pillow so she could smell him every night. Whenever the cologne got weak, she went out and bought the kind he wore and sprayed it. A bundle of his hair she’d “accidentally” pulled during Physical Education was tied with red ribbon and sitting across her black notebook filled with his name.Posted By Cheezit On 03.12.2011 @ 9:27 pm
Scarves, one tied around her neck to hide the marks and another around her waste to hold up her too-small jeans. She’d lost so much weight, and the emerald silk hardly kept the denim over her hips. The one at her neck glistened blue in the sunlight as she walked up to the school doors, self-consciously chewing on her lip. Please don’t let anyone find out… she prayed.Posted By Cheezit On 03.11.2011 @ 11:15 pm
She had to make a statement, and she had to make it now. It had to be loud, clear, so everyone could see that she WAS the leader she had decided to me, vowed to be. The noise was everywhere, them fighting for her, and it was her time to show that she was just as loyal as them and wanted to protect the Clan as much as anyone else.Posted By Cheezit On 03.11.2011 @ 12:24 am
I wondered what to do about it, staring in shock at the bloody mess at my feet. The blade in my hand slipped, clattering as it hit the earth, and my glazed eyes slowly cleared. “Shitshitshit,” I muttered, backing up as my muscles trembled uncontrollably. “What am I going to do now?”Posted By Cheezit On 03.09.2011 @ 10:58 pm
I didn’t understand. This was the final one? My final chance to make things right? I hadn’t been able to do it the hundred times before, and I had never thought it would be limited. One more try to save him, and then it was over? What was done, was done? Final choice, my dear, final chance. His demented laughter filled my ears.Posted By Cheezit On 03.03.2011 @ 11:58 pm
