People drink to forget. They forget parts of themselves, or their past, or other things. The purpose of the drink is that it shuts down parts of yourself that you don’t want active.

I had a component break down today. It was always kind of damaged goods from the day I put it into the machine, but the stress of existing snapped it earlier today. I’ve been collecting new parts, though, so it’s replaceable, like everything.

integrity
Integrity is staying true to one’s principles no matter the circumstances. It’s easy to maintain when there’s no cost, but when you’re looking down the barrel of consequences the cost spikes quickly.
