resist

To resist if futile. Time and tide flow and change whether we go with them or not. If you go with the flow it is more likely you will cover ground quickly and may be living up to your purpose. Blessings.

paintbrush

With an old paintbrush and some dried out watercolors she sat down near the creek and pulled out her last piece of paper. She needed to leave a message and a picture was the best way.

paperback

Paperback…someday my book will be released in paperback. That will be a joyous day. It will mean that the hardback version was popular enough to demand a paperback version for the masses.

corner

Around the corner, in the corner, down on the corner, it is a location but so hard to pinpoint. I like corners, they often hold surprises of the most interesting kind. Do you like corners?

logical

If I am logical, I will work through this. Unfortunately logical doesn’t often work when it comes to matters of love and war. If I can be logical then maybe I am not as involved as I think.

The fresh blossom on the magnolia tree was a beautiful sight. It meant home. It meant papa’s fresh fish for dinner.

knot

Knots are fun, I love learning how to tie new ones. I even enjoy figuring out how to undo nasty ones. Have a couple in my book that don’t get untied. You have to be cut loose.

wanted

Wanted, dead or alive, new car, help, job, maybe an idea. I do my best not to want too much. I prefer to focus on have. Have new car, job…

bleep

Bleep, what the bleep? I don’t know what to say about bleep. Maybe I could write about blip or blimp or bowl or sheep but bleep? Not really a thing but an anti-thing.

licorice

I don’t like licorice. James, he loves it. Will go out of his way to try and finagle some out of anyone who has any. He is especially found of black licorice, like my mother.

crime

Is it a crime to steal something you own. I loaned it to her and she never returned it. I was just claiming it back. See, it even has my name on it. I just wanted it back. She can keep the other stuff.

mist

When the mist floats along the creek it seems to bring a peace with it. It seems to speak to me saying, “Wait, be still and listen.” Like it knows the message that is coming.

apron

Aprons are for sissies. If you are really worried about your clothes, wear a lab coat. If not, then no need for an apron. Unless, you are trying to get a different kind of attention.
