Beauty. Strokes of ink filling a page. Harmony. Love on the canvas. Brush strokes telling a story. Colors blurring your world while sharpening your senses. Aesthetically enhancing the vision. Paint lightens the dark, un-mutes the walls and brings warmth to the cold.Posted By Dana On 06.06.2011 @ 3:06 pm
Each sip of her mojito flooded her with memories of a rose garden and her grandmother’s old hands, skin like wrinkled paper, proffering green leaves to a skeptical little girl. Closing her eyes she could remember chewing slowly, the cool menthol feeling and slightly bitter taste filling her mouth. Even now, 20 years later, fresh mint could inspire that bittersweet nostalgia.Posted By Dana On 05.27.2011 @ 11:25 am
I like these. Yuummmmm. The crunchy one are puh, but the soft ones are mmmmm. Too much salt and i go yuck! But no salt with a little cheese makes my tummy purr. Oh pretzels. Write and write and write and write. How are pretzels made? Are they a bread? How can there possibly be so many types of ways out there to make bread? Hmmmm…..a pretzel please?Posted By Dana On 05.22.2011 @ 7:06 pm
Vodka? I like vodka. It’s my drink of choice. Not like I drink much. But the only times I’ve ever been tipsy– tipsy, not drunk, vodka has been my drink of choice. With cranberry juice and orange lime seltzer. Yum.
Or with orange juice. YUM.
I haven’t tried flavors. I should wait until I’m 21. But that’s not for another two years. And I’m not a drinker/partier. EVen though I kinda seem like one. Teehee. I’m a good girl!!Posted By Dana On 05.14.2011 @ 5:15 pm
She sat there, shoulders hunched over, shaking uncontrollably, crying into her hands. She had no shoulder to cry on, no arms to fall into, no one to tell her everything would be okay. The only person who had been there for her in the past just left her, with no plausible explanation as to why. She had been left to drown in her own tears of misery, with the question “why?” running through her head over and over again.Posted By Dana On 05.10.2011 @ 7:33 pm

i got a birthday card for my mom a few weeks ago but i didn’t say anything too nice or heartfelt it was pretty generic and not at all what i really wanted to say but i waited until 5 minutes before i saw her to write in it, so i had to hurry up and write in it before i gave it to her.Posted By Dana On 02.19.2011 @ 9:17 pm
I hate when my alarm goes off in the morning. It is super annoying and it usually means that I’m about to embark on a warm shower and get out of said warm shower into a nearly freezing bathroom. I suppose without my alarm I would probably over sleep alot for work. However I guess not all alarms are bad. For instance their are good less annoying alarms. Fire Alarms. Tsunami Alarms. That warn people before the bad hits. I guess that’s what my alarm clock is doing really, if you think about it. Its preventing me (with its annoying beep) from over-sleeping and being late to work (bad). Oh what more is there really to say about alarms.Posted By Dana On 02.08.2011 @ 8:13 am
