I was shown the vast valleys. I was shown miles of opportunity. I was even shown God’s grace; but i stumble and fall with every step. Even though I am shown grace daily, I fail. God’s grace is a like a heavenly bowl of which is always full.

The sunlight is primitive of the sun, the sun is primitive of the moon. The stars are primitive of the moon, and the clouds are primitive of the rain. The earth is a round sphere of clouds, water, and green. Our feelings are primitive of our actions.

separate

The world seems to have stopped rotating when I am separate from You. No light shines upon the world, and the birds cease their sensational singing. Nothing is right in the world when I am separate from You. I need Your arms to enfold me.

alibi

I had no alibi. My actions were a disgrace, a shame, even. My conscious pounded within me, and my thoughts protested deeply. I had done wrong. No alibi could save me now.

sunglasses

Rays of sunlight glinted off of the round sunglasses. Black as a bat, they were. round as a cloud, they were. Protecting the eyes, covering the tears, sunglasses can be a wall.
