It sat decomposing under a tree. What was it’s previous life? Another tree? An animal of some sort. *shakes head* It doesn’t matter. It has found new life now as the mycelium push through it, soaking up the nutrients and a little delicious mushroom pops up.

patience
Everything is demanding so much from me, I have little patience left for anything. What do you do when everything presses in and demands your attention? Just take one at a time. Breathe. Relax. The end is coming.

There I sat under the bridde. I couldn’t see the sky, but I could hear the water below me down the slope and the cars zooming by above. it occurs to me…..everything is so separate. Bridges separate the cars from the water, and they are just as much about separation as they are about connections.

Under the bridge was a bottle. Under the bottle was a damp spot in the dirt where water remained from the morning dew. Under that, well, was the dirt I first sat in with you.

wanting
I am wanting for everything to get better. Not go back to how they were, but be BETTER. But wanting is what got me in this mess to begin with….I wonder if it will take more than wanting to get me out. It is such a selfish thing, to want. I’ll need something unselfish to heal over.

It was just a small throw. how was I supposed to know that he’d trip backwards and fall off the roof? Whos idea was it to practice throwing techniques on the roof anyways?! What am I going to do…Should I call the police? He can’t still be alive, can he? It’s so far down…
