fixed

Like the northern star which actually moves and puts Caesar back in the realm of the mercurial, finicky man. Or is it like our emotions to remain fixed and have us revolve around them?

booth

I think of a telephone booth and how I couldn’t wait to use one when I was a grown-up and how now that i am a grown up there are very few of them left-in fact they are almost obselete. Booths in general are not so common-booths in restaurants that is. Wow I can’t think of anything else to say.

robot

the robot swung his arms about and awkwardly tried to pick up a tin a can within reach. it laughed as he knocked the can to the ground. others looked at the robot in curiosity. he smiled back, and tilted his head. he patted the dogs head, and went about his business.

obsolete

no longer the trend. i would say that the horse drawn buggy is obsolete in a modern city. i wish i could make my flaws obsolete. obsolete comes with time. life is short, and some day i shall be obsolete- my thoughts, my memories, and my feelings will hopefully live on though.

integrity

there is this thing called integrity. it’s when you do what you say you’ll do. it’s when people cal trust that what you say is what you are, and that behind closed doors- the level of trust doesn’t change. it’s a seamless interaction between words, actions, and one’s own honor and respectibility.

darkroom

she sat in her darkroom waiting for her pictures to develop. She seemed disoriented, wondering if she was talented enough to show her professor that she can open her own gallery. It was about half past eleven.

scoop

The thing you want most as a journalistic cliche. The book by E Waugh? The thing that ice cream is delivered with.

Oddly onomatopoeic word.

Not something I am so fond of.

hah! and the time reset when I hit the back button – so does that mean i can write twice as much? Is that a scoop? Or am I cheating? I suspect that this is cheating which is why I am writing a little off topic for this bit.

curls

The curls of her hair were bouncing lightly on her back. She was walking towards the library. That’s exactly where I was heading. We walked i, through the sensors and into the computer lab. She sat at my computer. The one that I always used. It must be fate.

give

to give is the ultimate sacrifice, a gift from the heavens. let it be that those who partake in this gift of giving, be rewarded with the fruits of their virtue. For God is a good God who joyfully gives to those that love him.

toast

How can you not love toast? I like mine with gobs of salty butter and sometimes sliced tomatoes. Never use white bread like wonder bread.. try a multi-grain which has much more flavor. How about with lox spread or tunafish salad. Yum! I’m making myself hungry!

assume

assum, for a moment, that you are very ill. You are unabable to contain any fluid in your body. you are hot, clammy, and your throat feels like there are razorblades scratching up the sides. That is how my sister is feeling right now.

humid

It is terribly humid in north carolina. Dry heat is tolerable, but once we top centiniel farenheight, then our skin begins to stick to itself, and the proverbial feeling of hot and bothered begins to overtake our sense of balance.

asking

who is asking whom what? and why are they asking whatever they’re asking. can’t they just think for themselves? can’t they not stop being inquisitive and asking? why should they ask? Can’t a man have a minute of peace? does whoever is asking have to keep asking, and thereby intruding on his minute? anyway, what ever he is asking..if i’m the person he’s asking, i refuse to tell him whatever it is that he wants to hear.

stable

Though working through night and day at a job that I like in an environment I love, i don’t think I can count myself as stable. That said, what is stability anyway? Is it the stereotype or what suits you?
