tea

I hate tea – it tastes like dishwater. Sometimes I will tolerate a flavored tea when I’m sick -or on a really cold day. But mostly I’m a coffee drinker. Coffee is the best 2 x per day for me – have to have it in the afternoon. There are tea drinkers and coffee drinkers – I’m for coffee. I know a lot of people who love tea. What’s the attraction? Blah, blah, blah….

glossy

shiny like photo paper – you can gloss over something by putting a different spin on it so it’s…. glossy. I like glossy photos better than matted photos. Glossy lip gloss is also glossy. What else is?

only

only when I saw him did I realize what I had done. I had given up the love of my life. I knew what I had to do. I had to get him back. I had one chance. There was only one thing I could do, I just had to work up the courage to do it.

purse

ahh the purse… the window in to a womans soul. No a purse is what women spend to much money on buying and too much time filling it up.

Balance. Oh to be level with the world, the people in it – with myself. What joy and certainty that would bring. Just imagine if the world was Level.

I like levels because it reminds me of video games and the different levels they have! I remember the level in battle toads with the surfing and what not, it was really hard. I remember the first level in mario 64! That was an amazing game and it had a bunch of different levels that were also amazing and innovative. Great games.

sombre

the whole world falls into a sombre mood when they begin to ponder the path our world is going

why don’t they move forward faster and try to stop the economy from spiraling out of control

it’s a world that is fast becoming a buy buy buy and bankrupt bankrupt bankrupt

or so it seems to me

and to the stock markets of the world

This is a state where someone is nonchalant, laid back and doesn’t seemingly care. It could be caused by being depressed, scared, sick or distracted.

something you tie around your neck, put on a dresser or eat very fast.

Your red scarf matches your eyes. You close your cover before striking. I love scarves. They are good for shade, sun protection, wiping sweat and dust off my face, making a pillow, carrying a baby, and add a touch of beauty to whatever you wear. I especially like pashmina shawls.

brushed

i hadn’t seen him in months. his sleeve brushed my arm: all the hair on the back of my neck stood up. it’d take more than a good brushing to get the static out of this moment, i think, as he turns away from me altogether. i feel brushed off, i feel like that stainless steel sink with the brushed finish that’s never ever going to look new.
