beer

I hate the smell, taste and effects of beer. It causes a lot of pain and suffering. A lot of young adults and teens die because of beer and over drinking. People die in car accidents because of drinking. A lot of people consider it an art form.

since

Ever since I’ve known my sister, my life has been all over. There’s times when she’s nice, treats me and all is good until disaster strikes. She turns her head and there she is. La di poo she’s called. She’s mean and wicked just like a witch; bossing me about, all domineering she is! However, once she turns back I’m zoned into another life. My life is all over, I say and there is nothing you can do when you have a older sister.

blindness

If I had a choice between blindness and deafness, I think I would choose deafness. Although deafness cuts you off from other people, blindness cuts you off from the world. It is hard for me to imagine being able to live and work completely independently if I were blind, but I think I could do so if I were deaf. Independence is very important to me.

texture

Soft like a fleece, smooth and silky like the cat’s fur. Texture in desserts is so important. Mush foods are generally unappealing, like mashed potatoes, applesauce, and pudding. Adding nuts to a chocolate dessert makes it so much better.

zone

on a distant planet where few have traveled, there is an area in which time frequently reverses, thus creating a time machine. This zone abducts the visitor and spits them out into a new dimention where glimpses of the past can be caught. The trouble is, this reversal isn’t in a linear direction, it tends to spiral and wag.

pour

I poured the milk out of the bottle. It was clotted and smelled soured. It went into my tea and I nearly puked. NOthing grosser than pouring soured milk out of a bottle when you’re hungover.

emptying

THe room was emptying out when he got there. Chris looked for Kate, but couldn’t see her. THen he heard a noise. She was bunched up under a chair crying – the hand of god on her forehead where the ash had been stamped. He ran over to her, crouched down and took her head in his hands

hassle

It was such a hassle getting up that morning. It wasn’t the hangover, it was the fact I’d lost my keys and couldn’t get home. Yes,I was outside in a soft rain with nothing on but a pair of undies and sneakers.

reporter

I started the day with a coffee and followed it up with a visit to the morgue to report on the latest killing in what was beginning to seem like a spree. No one knew who he was – or even if he was a he. For all we knew it was a woman, but

You have to have an alibi if you are acused of a crime. An alibi can be a person or a place with a video camera. If you don’t have an alibi, you could be acused of something you may not have done.

demonstration

I have never done a demonstration before. Although, I have tried taking Speech 101 at least 4 times. I never get past the 2nd week. One of the speeches we have to make is a demonstration one. I never know what to do so at that point I drop the class.

generator

This is something I will need in order to live out of my RV – it represents freedom – the freedom to go anywhere I want, rather than where I can hook up to electricity. Backroads, the edge of the Grand Canyon (away from the tourists!), as long as my RV can drive there, I can live there with a generator.

walls

Walls give barrier to places, people, and cultures. It’s the Great Wall of China, in historical beauty, that also shares a history of separation, like the Berlin wall. We need to bring down our walls. Let new space enter and coalesce. Share. Walls are a sense of protection but from what?

It gathers dust as it sits alone on the shelf. Empty and tarnished. Better to claim a prize of love and lasting relationships that never grow dull or out of style.

The stem of a plant is the bit connecting the flower bit to the roots. It can also be the stem of a word in a grammatical sense which is something to do with verb endings and is useful when learning a foreign language. It’s an acronym of some teeth eat men.

plaid

plaid is good, even when with plaid. Not like denim when you wear it with denim, than it’s just too much. I somehow respect anyone who is bold enough to wear too conflicting plaids. I think thats because I knew this guy in high school, Brian Swart, who always wore this sweet plaid blazer, that was obviously second hand, with a plaid fedora all the time. He played the saxophone so sweet, and that is definitely my least favorite instrument, too scratchy.
