responsibility
Now that I’m getting older, I feel like I have more and more responsibility. Especially when I turn 17 and get a car. I’m not sure I’m ready, or even that I like having more responsibility over my life, but I do like the freedom.

I take pride in the fact that I’m so musical! I’ve played cello for about 7 years now, and I can also have fun on the piano and the guitar, and I guess I don’t sing too badly either? I just started taking singing lessons like 2 weeks ago! Anyways, music really does mean the world to me, be it classical, pop, or hipster, and I don’t know how I’d live without it. My dream job would become with music in some way or another.

In college, I want to major in the applied sciences! Probably engineering. The pure sciences don’t appeal to me that much, and I guess they may also be a dying field, but I do hope I end up loving what I do! And on another note, I should probably apply myself more.

Destroy the world the villain said. Almost every villain i see in fiction wants to destroy the world. Why would they want to do that? What happened in his life that was so traumatizing that he wants to destroy everything.

The Sound of Music! One of my favorite movies of all time. And I guess it’s because I love music. My music taste is pretty eclectic, basically anything that has a good melody and a good beat, but it still means to the world to me, whether I’m playing the cello or jamming out to pop music. I even started taking singing lessons!

I chose to be this way. And I’m happy! I don’t want anyone else but me to determine where I am going to go in life, especially not by my mom. Just like how I chose not to go to school today.

I love how it’s like a thing for the guys team to sweep the 50 free. Go Matt Tan and Alex! :D And of course, Wilson, too, he’s literally my favorite person out of the entire team. Always saying hi to me and always being nice, he’s one of the greatest captains and even role models that I could ask for. And he even jams hard :P

The only speeches that I can remember right now are the ones that made me cry. The one that Mr. Enz made at Ocean Grove about the power of music, the TED talk with Chopin’s Nocturne in E minor, the commencement speech at last year’s graduation, and the embarrassment of my middle school student council thing lol. I didn’t do that well on the Lang speech thing.

Sometimes, I just need a good cry. I like crying. Crying gets me. It gets how sometimes, I just really need a way to get everything out, something to show that everything isn’t okay. I used to cry every day when I was really sad before, and it’s great that I do it a lot less now, but there are still some days when all I want to do is cry. Nothing else can compare to the great rush of emotion that comes with crying, be it inspiration or depression..
