losses
there are many losses in life. some personal, like death of loved ones; some professional, like closing a business. but when any kind of loss occurs, another door opens. you can gain wisdom or a deeper understanding of yourself. some losses can define yourself, while others can make you lose your soul for awhile.

bucket
There’s a red bucket sitting upside down on my patio right now. Instead of taking it inside in preparation for rain, my parents turn it upside down. Even though taking it somewhere and putting it away would probably take the same amount of time. They’re pretty weird sometimes but I love ‘em. Buckets. Fyi, they make good drums on a night when you don’t have any plans.

detention can be self inflicted or not. if it is, ask yourself: why? why am i inflicting this on myself? and you may just find an insecurity or another aprt of your soul that you have never discovered before.

I felt a surge of disdain for the animal as it wiggled on it’s fat belly under my shrub. It had sat at my feet and begged pathetically. Only to scorn the delectable delight of fish I had set before it.

conceal
to conceal is to hide. you can be hiding a lie to protect, hurt, or for only yourself. but the reason doesn’t always matter. sometimes you must have secrets. sometimes you must be alone. nobody should try to take that away from you, because that is how we were created. we should not try to lie all the time, but little secrets are necessary to living life happily.

the desert is a place with nothing. there could be a desert consisting of a place without love, or with only pain. a desert doesn’t have to be hot and dry, it can be wet and cold, too. that means that everyone has a different life, and that we shouldn’t expect people to be one way or another

If a guy says that he’s so lucky to have you, that he doesn’t deserve you, he does. if you do something that’s noteworthy and people talk and congratulate you, you deserve that, even if you think you don’t.

he sat next to me on the bench. head slouched. lazily. as if to say he didnt care although i knew that he did. the wood of the seat was heated beneath me, taking on the suns warmth after a long summer day. the intesnity in his eyes let me know that he was serious, and i flinched

The world is not finite. Only our human minds our. Once we can possibly break out of that nonsense possibilities will be endless. Of course we will never get there no matter how hard we try or how much we think outside the box. We’re doomed to live out our lives never knowing the true potential of anything or anyone.

Sandals are really nice to wear on a sunny day. They’re pretty and colourful :) I have pink sandals. When I was a little girl I used to wear little white ones with pink socks. Aw, I miss being a kid. Those were the good old days
