glowing
bones
My bones creak as I move. As I walk. As I am. I wish they were strong and limber as they once were. With each creak. I wish. I am. I cannot turn back.

The bones of the girl he had killed all those years ago mocked him. He was going to death row, there was no way to escape it. Because of her bones, found after all this time. She had her revenge.

The bleach white surface glared in the sun, stinging my eyes. They had been here for a while. How many victims? How many innocents had fallen prey to this harsh wasteland?

crew
crews are for ships, they have a captain and they follow his lead. there are also crews on airplanes. they are trained to be very nice and kind to the travelers and know what to do in cases of emergencies. there is also a store j crew. sometimes it has nice clothing, but for the most part, it’s not really my style. crew is also a kind of collar – a crew necked shirt – i wonder if the original crews on ships wore shirts with crew necked collars. maybe that is why they call them crew necked.

i have a crew. they are pretty cool. its my four best friends. we like to go to clys together. I didnt make up the name crew. one of my friends did. I think it sounds kinda silly, but it does make me feel included, like i really am apart of the crew. i miss her alot.

waver
Why was I hesitating? This should have been easy. This blade had cut many people’s flesh, but I just couldn’t sink it into yours. What are you made out of? Flesh of steel, bones of iron?

I never read wavers, they’re usually pointless and have something to do about Jesus.I don’t like Jesus,he was a dirty hippie, who in fact was probably against wasting so much paper. People are stupid cutting down Jesus’ trees to make wavers. No hippies like dead trees. And they stick these things on your car! Your fucking car! I don’t want a damn dead tree made waver stuck to my windshield.

eyeliner
The sticky black substance ran down my face, carried by the painful tears. I began to regret having put so much on, the feeling of it running down my face was disgusting, and the pain even worse.

camp
hot. never been camping before. dirty. lots of bugs. YMA is the only camp i go to. I love it there. its my second home, but its not really campy. the closest thing ive been to camping is staying in a tee-pee at Kah-Nee-Tah. not really camping though. it was a lot of fun!

dinosaur
They used to crash among the places where skyscrapers now stand. Giants against the sky, much like the cities of today are. Dinosaurs still stand among us, made of steel and glass.

The lime green dinosaur looked more extinct than the fossils I was researching. I told Danny to clean up his toys and get ready for lunch. It would only be grilled cheese again, just like yesterday and the day before, but I knew how much the little plastic-wrapped piece of cholesterol made his day.

bandana
I tied it quickly around my arm, the paisley pattern quickly turning red with the seeping blood. I groaned with pain as the pressure of the fabric tightened down on the gaping wound.

fluorescent
Those ugly lights. They cast such eerie shadows across people’s faces. Making it seem like you’re in some lost dungeon, or a cave, festering with evil spirits. The sinister light creeps up your spine making your worst nightmares a reality.

reminds me of discos, where all the girls are dancing as if their lives depended on it and the boys are going around checking out the girls. all you remember from the night are the drinks and the laughing and the fluorescent lights. it feels like bliss.

Fluorescent lighting is harsh, definitely no friend to a girl. The Arctic Monkeys have a song called fuorescent, it’s pretty good. Otherwise, there’s not much I have to say about the word fluorescent. Sorry.

clover
Everyone can use a little luck sometimes. It’s something like 1 in a million clovers actually have 4 leaves, so if you find one, keep it, you never know when you could use a little luck.
Posted By Kate On 04.30.2011 @ 8:50 pm
Will I have good luck this time? Or are you just a waste of it? Do I dare give you my heart? Will you treat it right? Or will you tear it from my chest and crush it under toe?

i never really understood what it was. all i knew was that the smell reeked out of the arm rest in my fathers Audi as he used to put it under his eyes to help him sleep. i was messing with it one day and spilled it all over his cream suede seat. the smell reminds me of that old car, i miss it.

Clover dotted the floor, evidence of an adventure forgotten. The day has been new and exciting but when the environment returned to the known it didn’t matter anymore.

chorus
A chorus of applause, I stood in the back, I sang my heart out.
When it was over, everyone congratulated me on my solo. I hadn’t had one, though. I was just louder than everybody else. I let my lungs take ahold of me, melted into the notes, let my voice electrify the whole stage.
That was when I was happiest, I think. My first high. I’ll always try to recreate it.

The melody flowed into my ears like water. The sweet sound singing me to sleep as my being fell into the symphony of sounds.

The lock clicked into place as I slammed my hand against the cold metal. My breath came out in ragged gasps as it escaped my chest.

trailer
My family has an RV. Not really a trailer I guess, but similar. I just watched the last HP trailer ever. I cried. On the inside. It can’t end. Literally it cant.
I wish I could be with my family right now. Watching HP. In my RV. Which isn’t quite a trailer. But it’s close enough, ok? I need to go read this book.
