it makes me sad to see the dogs int the sherusted, but no longer do. To see small children, once innocent, but can no longer trust. What is it about this world that makes it so hard to trust?

why is this past tense? past is gone, dead, insignificant. What do kindergarteners wonder? because that is what will determine our future.
