placed
We are all placed somewhere different. Some of us are placed in more fortunate places than others. Some of us are placed in the cold mountains. Others are placed in the warm sand. But we are all placed exactly where we are supposed to be. No one gets placed anywhere by mistake.

sure
I didn’t know what I wanted, or who I wanted. But one thing for sure was that I was scared. I was terrified of what was going to happen next. I crept along the wall and peered around the corner. The hallway was empty and dimly lit. If I was to make it out, I would have to trust my wits.

sate
I’m hungry, food steaming on the table, a family sitting around happily. But here I am, looking through the window, a window that shows my past. One that I wish I haven’t disregard. Family, food and happiness was what had taken up most of my life before.

Five a number, five fingers on each hand. Five toes on each foot. Five, halfway to ten, five more miles, five more seconds. Five a magic number. A special number? Five more minutes.

its covering us everywhere in our heads everyday we pretend that we will know what lies upon the other side but the truth is we’ll never really understand what we are dealing with because we are unsure of what was there to begin with

The early morning racket from the next room made him set down his book, stand up, and bang on the wall. This was his punishment for rooming with a tuba player.

funeral
I wish I went to Thomas’s funeral. It was last week. I may not have said it, but he meant a lot to me. I still cry when I think about him but I’m glad to remember all the good times we had. I want to go visit his grave.

spike
In volleyball, this is a form of serving. I really don’t know anything about volleyball, except that my friend played it in high school, but that is all I could think of with the word “spike.” Or a dog. Wasn’t the dog on Rugrats named Spike?

liar
My ex-boyfriend. I’m not really sure he ever cared for me as much as he cared for the other girls. Yet I’m still hung up on him. And though I told him the truth the other day, my heart was screaming. It only wanted him. Then. Now. Why do we always want the liars? Do we like the challenge?

bongos
interesting instruments that are usually forgotten. accused of being simplistic and different. However, because they are different is why they are beautiful in sound and play. Most who see someone who can play these are filled with imagination and joy. It is an item that does not sound like many other precussions, but is beautiful because of this.
