The boy of my dreams gently takes my hand in his and peers straight into my eyes. “I know this may be… a bit straightforward–but I like you.” I stare at him speechlessly and let my mouth gape open for several moments before pulling away, shaking my head. “No, no, there’s no way this is possible.” “You don’t believe me?” He tilts his head, hurt. I stare at him incrediously.

rally
They rallied the troops, and ran out the door at top speed. They were in a rush to get to the next place before they were discovered. It was terrifying, because the night was so deep, they almost couldn’t see. They were lucky to still have every person still alive, on their team.
The troop couldn’t waste any time, and hurried to the next building, kicking open the door, unapologetically, searching for any and all signs of life. The only thing that greeted them was a long awkward silence.
