Help me carve these letters into the tree, that way when we come back in 20 years the only thing that will be the same will be the, and our love.

beach
A wonderous place to be enjoyed at all times. You can’t always get there, because water is sometimes really far away, but when you get there it’s amazing. Can be utilized at any time of the day.

waiting there on the the coarse sand of the beach I though to myself “Is she coming, or will I be waiting for the moon just as I had before.” I hoped to all things precious that she was coming, becaue the sight of the wanning moon would perhaps be the death of me this time.

Sullivan’s Island comes into view as the drive down the beach begins. The most calming place in the world with the most comforting sand beneath your feet and the peace that surrounds you as you are encompassed by the sea breeze.

Sandy, silty edge of the world looking out unto a perfect curved horizon and I still can’t find my shoes. Bugger. I suppose you are looking for an answer; it’s “no”.

Alone on the sand, I lift my hand to shade the sun. Staring out at the water I wonder about life. About how things come to be, about how much I have lost and loved. I wiggle my toes, happy at what life has brought me to.

tide
The tide is rising on the shores of the old Sea Biscuit. The one place I can go and sit and not have a care in the world. The foam hitting against the stair means the moon is about to rise and the night life will soon rear it’s beautiful head.

Youth in revolt. Rage against the machine and fight for your right to party. Stand up against the man and take what is rightfully yours for this day will never come again. A riot is just what this town needs.

as they turned to revolt against the recently uttered words, they felt themseleves to be like peasants revolting against the upper class, as they once had in history.

Her whole body revolted against his absence. She didn’t care for coffee that morning. It was too harsh on her stomach, drinking the full pot she’d made for the both of them.

leap
Leap. I shall leap to the ends of the earth and beyond for those I care for. Everyone and everyone should take a leap. Leaps can be in faith or in honor. Some will leap for the sheer fact of leaping

Leap years happen once every four years. I wonder how those came to be. How did they come up with the name leap year? It’s not like the calendar just leaps across a four year span of time. It’s just one extra day that some lucky baby was born on that now only truly has a birthday once every four years.

matching
Socks. It was always the socks. They never matched, no matter what. One would be green, one would be red, one would be striped, one not. It was like he didn’t pay any attention to what he was wearing when he dressed in the morning.

Paul was sitting on the floor after a long day putting together the panda puzzle. He was almost done and only had a few pieces left. As he sat there trying to match up all the grooves he began to think about his relationship with Kelly and where it had gone wrong. Were they a good match? Or just two pieces from two different puzzles?

dolls are gross they feed a lot of things that dont’ matter ot the regular person accepton on sundays when they don’t really wnt anything to do with whoever they are they just wante to escape into a pool wher eit’s cold and damp and there’s not much to be afraid of in teh way of loud voices and trouble. Most of the time this is not the case. Most of the time it’s lard screams and hard feelings lurking b eing the door by teh laundry or in the kitch from dawn until dusk an ayunhappy restlessnes that doesn’t want to admit its there

trap
I once trapped someone in a room with me. I forced them to talk. To tell me their biggest fears, wishes, dreams, and regrets. They complied. Not because they wanted to, but because they felt like today was the day. If not now, then when? And I did the same. Honestly, it felt refreshing. It is nice to know I’m not alone.

reflex
they did this text in science class to check our reflexes, how quickly we could tighten our fists around a falling object. I picture you and me like that, all the muscles in you contracting the moment you realize that my body responds to gravity before it responds to your palms
