balloons
I think ballon s are the most fun in the whole world. They can bring life and color to a very boring place. They are fun to play with young children. They can bounce them around and hit them, and even popping them is alot of fun. I love the colors that come with balloons. Bright and cheery, pastels and dark!

poster
A monkey. Phantom of the Opera. Billy Joel. The Lion King. Big Ben. Rainbow Fish. Duckies. London. Winnie the Pooh. A kitten. Wicked. Each an inside joke, or something to make me smile. The thing at the end of the day that reminds me to keep going, because of all the cool things I know. Posters are what make my walls not white, and the things that show that my mind is equally cluttered and colorful.

scorn
Scorn. Distaste. Distrust. I used to love her so very much. She used to be a friend. Then she changed. I wish she would smile, or laugh, or tell me something happy. Now I just feel disappointed and maybe a little bitter because. All she does is mock her friends or coworkers and it is so exhausting to have a friend like that.

slight
It was only a slight problem. Or so they thought. They hadn’t acutally realized that anything was wrong. And then, she had come to them and said that the results and the data didn’t add up. And then they had realized that they had missed a step in the experiment and all of the data were wrong–and two years worth of work went out the window.

nourish
this is a different type of nourishment. This is not made for your body This is for your mind. Breathe deep. Eyes open. Clear your mind. Nourish every part of your soul. Nourish every crazy idea and every impossible, improbable thought

splash
Knee’s tanned, sun beating down on your bare thighs. I stare at your reflection in the water so I don’t have to stare straight at you. You’re like a bright light that strains my eyes and sunspots appear all over my lids. A rock in the water, a speedboat passes by and it’s waves splash our legs.

exquisite
Exquisite is something you describe something that is of a higher class then normal. Normal eing the average household with the casual things included. Something of this title would be one of a kind, something you’d see in an art museum or even something you’d simply see on television.

Exquisite. It’s like your face and your smile. It’s the way you make me feel. The knowledge of knowing your there makes life all the more exquisite.
It’s not just in the air or the way you wear your hair. no one can be as perfect as you. <3

fixed
Fixing things is the hardest part about life. You have to fix relationships, your heart, you car, your grades. Anything and everything. But sometimes it can bring you utter happiness and other times you don’t know what is going fixed. I feel you fix something every day. Fixed is past tense so it seems more sad than anything.

pageant
pageants are something that lets humans judge people on absolutely nothing of merit. Every pageant is based on something that means people will be judged on whatever the judge wants.

The only type of pageant I am familiar with are beauty pageants, and even that I am not completely familiar with. I’ve seen them on television, and in movies, but I’m not certain I really understand them. I think they’re silly. And they put a strange expectation on participants.

Those are for weird people. I don’t like them. Especially when little girls are in them. Beauty pageants are dumb. Mothers shouldn’t be allowed to make their daughter participate in them, even if their daughter wants to.

I am not really a fan of pageants. They’re kind of interesting, I suppose. I used to want to be in a pageant. In all honesty, I still think it would be interesting to partake in one. However, I’m never fond of others within them. Haven’t you seen Toddlers In Tiaras? That’s awful. I hate that. But being fancy on a stage for no reason seems fun. I don’t know. Why not? Because I have homework to be done, that’s why.

torch
A lighting device, for in the dark. You can get male sex toys in the shape of a torch. I have a blue one, and a black one. They all ways seem to have a lack of battery power. Its a bit rubbish when I want to go to my shed and I’m scared.

Torchbearers was a question on my English test. I’m still not too sure what they do. Why does it matter? What a silly question for an English test. I’ve learned Shakespeare’s work was really insignificant throughout this school year. Some things written are brilliant, but its just old-style writing. He didn’t do anything special. He didn’t. He didn’t do anything. I promise. I think.

staple
I was an office worker. It seems un-glamorous, but it was well within my comfort zone. Print three pages, staple here. Repeat forty times. Simple. Repetitive. Routine. Safe. This is the lifestyle I prefer. But moms don’t like to hear that you want to be an office worker.

belief
Belief. Believe. Believe that you will be alright. Believe that you are worthwhile. Believe that you can achieve wonderful things. Believe that God loves you. Believe that God has plans for a reason. Believe that everything will get better. Believe that you can move on. Without beliefs, you will be just as miserable tomorrow as you were yesterday and you are today.

Belief is like a flower that needs constant attention. Water it daily so it’s always fresh and thriving. Give it plenty of light for it to grow. Give one to your neighbours to add some cheer to their day. Stare at it often, and find yourself growing.

Belief is an important part of a persons life. Without it we have nothing because everything and everyone can be doubted and will be doubted at some point. Belief is what gets us through. Don’t lose belief, whatever you do keep your belief.

brunch
I hated Sunday brunch. Every week was a new opportunity for my mother and her sisters to try and outshine each other with their children’s accomplishments since theirs had long since passed. Sunday brunches were the reason for all the tension between me and my family. If our dresses weren’t ironed properly, there was a scuff on our shoe, or if we had not accomplished as much as our cousins had that week, my sisters and I didn’t have to look in a mirror or even speak; the evidence of our inadequacy was written all over our mother’s face. Her sour mood was like a contagious disease that spread from person to person, more and more each day until Sunday finally came. Sunday, when all of her pessimism and jealousy would climax into pursed lips, small sips of coffee, and back-handed compliments to her sisters and nieces. I didn’t like my mother much. But i did feel sorry for her, because unlike me; Sunday brunch was all she had.

demonstration
where you show someone and example how to do it and give them a review on how to do it correctly. A sample showing how to complete something during a practice.

What do you know? What can you tell me? Can you correctly format a paper? Can you complete a fill in the blank exam? Can you speak in public? What are the professional best practices? Can you debate? Can you prove a thesis? College is one, huge, demonstration of knowledge…

swing
Two grown up kids and free reign of one playground: A see saw, up and down, up and down. A slide: climb and slide! A swing set: back and forth, back and forth! Push! Push! One experience feeling like a child all over again!

If you meet me by the swing that hangs by the oak tree in the middle of both our yards, we can spend the whole day just ignoring the rest of the world and laughing. The way we did all last summer before you went away. Before we had to face the real world and things got this hard.

I don’t like when people swing their hair in my face. It is too close. I used to love to swing on the swings, but now my stomach gets sick. I think that happened after having babies. My equilibrium is off. Right now I can’t think, and swinging would make me crabby, except if I were on the Windseeker?
