Walls are everywhere. I’m currently surrounded by them. They are thick, covered in paint. They prevent me from experiencing the world around me, from gaining access to freedom. These walls hold me in, they cage me. But they’re nice too. They give me warmth, or at least help maintain it. They protect me from bad weather, from the rain, from snow, and yes, even from some animals.
