comma
what we have is a comma, a simple piece of punctuation that is more often misused and abused than used correctly. We have the spinster’s comma, the grocer’s comma. hover
I hovered down the road and I saw what I thought I saw: a picture of my mother hovering in the distance. Without looking, I was without a thought in my mind and every single time that I saw him I thought it was a cat. No, it was not. It was not at all, and I despise the fact that I ever thought it was. So here I am without a hover in the world and a mother that’s a girl. What a bother.

twine
I made a bracelet out of twine over a year ago. It stays on my wrist through showers and running, through movies and dinners, through long days and endless nights. I’m sure it won’t ever leave my wrist.

open spaces are just what they seem. open, vast, empty. however, just when you think that emptiness is closing in on you, you just need to open your eyes. once you look around, you’ll realize that you really aren’t all that alone. so next time you feel alone, just open your eyes
