Drip, drip, drip. The sound drilled into his ears, identical to the rasping feeling of his parched throat, and the pull of the rope on his wrists. Daniel was a quiet guy, never really talked much to fellow students. That was why, when he was graduating, he did not expect anyone to miss him. He walked in the room with the swagger of a million other men just like him. He was the only person in the entire world, and he sincerely believed that. With his skinny, white jeans and his open, red plaid shirt laid over a white a-shirt, he looked like every other ‘cool guy’ in the world. It was the beginning of a life, and yet also, the end of one. The restrictions placed on one at birth never ease up, and they doom the poor, unsuspecting child to a life in chains. an occasion is a party with a reason. the occasion to do something. I don’t even know what that means. but you know. or at least, you should know. but if you don’t, that’s okay too. because I don’t.
