electrocute
Ugh, not again! I wrote about this the last time! I really don’t wanna sign up to keep writing. Too lazy

When one is electrocuted he/she feels pain, shock, tingly, and awesome (if he or she is alive). Why awesome? Well because.

destined
Destined. What a beatiful word. Why? Because of all the lies it contains, of course.

Destined. This word is actually comforting. Perhaps when I worry about the future I’m just running in place. But then again maybe I’m supposed to worry in order for my destiny to turn out well. And who am I destined to be with? And what if I’m destined to something I don’t want? Could I be? And I just want to be destined to you.

calamity
Calamity. It can be subtle. It can be the misfortune of being so far from those you love most. It can be missing people who live in the same building as you. It can be missing a person you’re sitting in the same room as.

promise
Promises should obviously be kept. If you can’t, don’t promise, they are not a vehicle for your wishes but the base of your credibility. Dare to give promises, it’s brave and a big responsibility. Why don’t you make a promise today – to yourself or others?

barrel
I was staring down the barrel of his gun while he pulled out his phone, waiting for the next set of instructions from some mystery big-shot hitman on the other end. “Wow,” I thought, “If I’m

fire
There was a fire one time. it burned forever. I don’t want to go to hell. I have to go to heave. I’d rather believe in Heaven and find out it doesn’t exist than not believe and go to hell. Besides, believing in God never hurt anyone. Except Steven, the first Christian martyrs, and all the other martyrs. Dang I pushed the black button but i had to push back because i didnt fill out the fields so now i have another 60 seconds. i woke up this morning, and i wasnt in love with the same guy thats been treating me badly for almost 2 years, and it feels good. almost as good as burning him in a giant fire would feel.

soon
Soon the holidays will be upon us and I will again be overwhelmed … with tasks, activities, expectations, and guilt. It is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, yet it haunts me with memories from the past that are not necessarily & pleasant. I hate ti and wonder when will I be able to finally truly forgive myself.

somebody
told me once that my hair would be completely white by the time I was 20. They were wrong. It was 35. My mom always wanted me to start dying my hair when it started turning gray…..but I was too cheap and too lazy. And I’m glad now that I didn’t. What a bother, and so many chemicals, too. I’m okay with white hair. Not sure about Randy, though….and Tyler pulls his out when he sees them.

spa
The sun was rising high into the sky and I felt sweat pouring in rivulets down my body. My muscles were aching and my heart racing; This is exactly the mental health day at the spa that I needed

happiness, life, human beings. But the sunlight will set, only if you want it to.

gum
I like chewing gum for the most part, although I haven’t had any for a while. In junior high chewing gum was a daily staple. The boy I had a crush on chewed Wintergreen, so I’d always get the same one.

auxiliary
Turn like a key, like a cog, like the burnished apples when you plucked them when you spit the seeds into the front lawn and bled your smoke from your nostrils, I would’ve loved you forever then, loved you like a wire in a socket, sexual and useless, but god I would’ve loved you.

Two. Stare into each other’s eyes. Only one comes out. The other never sees the light again.

swan
Swan. Black. River. Swan. Orange. Ripples. Pond. Overhanging greenery. Young family sprawled across a red, checkered picnic rug. Tassels melding with the grass. A picnic basket of wicker. Soggy bread. Wet, cold water.

sunglasses
Sigh. I do not like sunglasses. They do not look good on me, and I am jealous of others who can wear them well. I especially do not like the people that wear their sunglasses indoors, and even worse are those who push them up on top of their heads! It looks ridiculous! Especially on bogons.

earring
Earrings. Sam, my younger brother, is fascinated by earrings. It was a hassle for him to be granted permission to get his ears pierced. This is stupid. I got mine pierced when I was eleven. I feel bad that I was able to get this done rather easily, and I haven’t worn earrings in over six months!

desk
My desk is where I sit. It is not excellent. It is far too short for me to rest my arms on. It is painted white, and this paint is flaking to reveal a horrible pink colour. But, even though it is just a board that hangs limply from a nail in the wall, it does serve it’s function… somewhat.

entice
Entice the nice with much white rice, for the day the sun blossoms, is the day we eat it all. So enticing, so exciting. This is terrible. Nicholas is talking crap about post-scarcity worlds and I’m too conscious of spelling

ratings
Ratings are a thing of numbers. How are you to express yourself with just numbers? Isn’t life more complicated than just good or bad? So why should you take an artist’s hard work and just go “oh…4″ Could you imagine working 10 years on a novel and that’s what you recieve? I can’t even imagine. At least give them the decency to say why. Give them more than just a rating.

function
so,off she went to a function. It was quite a swish affair. Black tie, no less. And at this function, she watched people function. Or dys-function. and she thought about words. Dys-function, dat-function.
Interesting. Function.

hoop
A young girl, in the playground, with tears of laughter streaming down her face, as she hula-hooped the rainbow coloured collection. Her grandmother sitting silently in front of her holding their ice-creams. The ice-creams melting on a sunny day, the grandmother giving them an occasional sneaky lick to catch the drips while she waited for her granddaughter to finish her fun.
