styrofoam
Styrofoam makes me think of the abandoned pieces of the white stuff that float in flooding creeks, floating to the sea, covered in mud and pecked by birds. I think about the ozone layer and summer softball games when I used to drink Mr. Pibb with crushed ice from a large Styrofoam cup, keeping my treat cool after a long long game.
