belief
Belief. I remember when I once had that. But alas, that has all been stripped away. Washed from me by the eternal tides of reality. Where there was once hope, there is now but sadness and grief. Where faith once dwelled, there is naught but doubt. Belief’s empty shell has been replaced with the deep void of pessimism and regret.
