The weathered statue was like an angel in the eerie night. It looked at the young girl with caring and kind eyes, as if it was telling her that everything will be okay. The girl smiled and continued on her journey.

I was determined to write this sentence in sixty seconds. What is determination though, is it pushing through something tough? Is it trying when you know you won’t succeed? How can you define determination? Is it triumph of the human spirit?

They were both staring at the night sky that was filled with beautiful stars. The girl leaned back against her companion. He was her friend since grade school. Both used to be members of the basketball team. They eventually quit when they realized that the sport didn’t really do them any good.

Alaine was tasked to cook a meal for the Baron himself. She didn’t know what to do. Cooking wasn’t exactly her specialty. She took a couple of vegetables from the freezer and some meat too and dumped them all in the pot already filled with boiling water.

turbine
a turbine is a good way to generate electricity in a sustainable way. There should be more turbines in the oceans in order to produce some, I’d support that even if I don’t have a clue about energy.

blackout
Heute habe ich mal wieder so ein Blackout. Meine Geschichte kommt einfach nicht voran. Mein Kopf ist leer. Aber Blackouts habe ich in letzter Zeit öfters. Aber vielleicht gehe ich die Sache auch falsch an. Ich denke wahrscheinlich tatsächlich zu viel. Ständig überlege ich, wie mein Drache heißen könnte. Ich sollte einfach mal anfangen, mir Gedanken über die Story zu machen, dann kommt der Name sicherlich von allein.
