July
July is the month of my sister’s birthday, a month that I will be forever grateful for. It is also the time that has (previously) been marked by days at the beach full of sun and open air. But no more. Now it will be spent inside while the sunlight beckons me to leave.

Ever since I was little boy, I have loved the English language. It has taught me how to express my ideas and communicate with others. However, some terms arent fully understood by me. The word since is though so thats good.

oil
I spend a large portion of my shopping time worrying about oil. Hydrogenated oils, partially hydrogenated oils, you name it. I try to stick with olive oil or canola oil, but frankly, just the thought of ingesting any kind of oil makes me feel a bit… mechanical, somehow.

There were several of them, huge towers. They reached the clouds they were so high, with their stacks releasing a thick fog of smoke. On an ordinary day, you could see the smoke billow from a great distance.

sitting on a train with the countryside rattling past, i had time to contemplate, collect my deep thoughts on the girl left at home. I was getting further away each second that passed and i never told her i loved her. The train was my escape, but do i want to be free?

California Ave SW and SW Edmunds, West Seattle. The corner is cursed. In 12 years, every restaurant in this “prime” location has failed, without reason. Maybe West Seattle’s only curse. I am sorry for the current business that is there, it will fail too.

When a second passes, it is gone forever. All around the world, people suffer. A child will go hungry, a family will lose their home, and many will die. This will occur numerous times in the next 24 hours alone. It makes something as needless as a feud seem rather shortsighted. Our time is better spent loving one another.

A loan is something that should be given and taken with trust and dedication. A loan is something that is given with the intention of receiving back later; possibly with interest. A loan should never be given with the intention of expecting something in return. One should never take a loan without the plan to back it up later.

I’ve never been to the subway. In movies, shit always goes down in subways. Trains go off the tracks, bomb threats are made, people are stabbed, graffiti is abundant, and people are crammed.
