Stem cells are the cells located within the trophoblast or the “wall” of cells that protect the embryoblast, the actual stem cells. Khan Academy FTW.

assisted
Assisted living sounds like a terrible predicament to be in. I’m not sure why, but the idea of not being able to support yourself sounds a bit frightening to me. I hope few people have to go through it.

crane
The truck driver was excited about his promotion: he was finally able to operate the elusive crane! All the hours of preparatory work in the local arcades finally paid off, he thought to himself as he stared at his collection of stuffed animal prizes.

given
Given to the young boy, the young man, was his grand father’s rifle. He had never known his father, and now he would never again know his grand father’s laugh. All he had now was his rifle, and he was adamant to make something of himself just as his forbearers did.

I was once given a rather unattractive sweater as a Christmas gift. I smiled politely and thanked the person who gave it to me (a slightly senile great aunt) and I hung it up in my closet and never touched it again. Her ghost haunts me to this day.

Tina was given herpes by her father. Needless to say, it was quite the awkward Thanksgiving when both she and her father, seated side by side, had matching cold sores on the lower left corner of their lip. Aunt Miriam eyed the two of them for a second, before shaking her head in a mix of disgust, confusion, and disbelief and bringing out her mashed potatoes.

braid
Unpacking the rope and securing a grapple to the end of it, the adventurers were prepared to descend into the cavern. It was a thick braided rope. Strong. Though as our brave explorers were about to find out, not nearly strong enough.

honest
“I am being honest.” said the goldfish. “Why, i never meant it that way.” said the scientist. “well, that’s how i took it.” Thus, confined to the rules of forgive and forget, the friendshipe between the goldfish and the mad scientist was forever broken. That is, until about three seconds later, when the goldfish forgot what happened. Friendship amended.

Wading through the river at its widest cross, the adventurers were at the very middle and would soon reach the other side, their destination, and their most fearsome danger.

AS THE MAN WALKED IN TO THE WATER IT he stepped on a sea shell. The water moved rapidly and he waded through the heavy muck. On the shore a teenage girl played with a frisbee and her dog chased after it.

crush
Crush your ice when you put it in your drinks, or else you might have to deal with that awkward moment where you try to take a sip but can’t because a really big piece gets stuck there and it just ruins the moment of your drink…

history
History was always one of my favorite subjects in school, because it tells the story of all the other subjects. Im afraid that history class will be harder for my children though, because in the future there will be more history to remember.

intense
intense. something karolina would say. intense eyes. intense gaze. intense sneer. intense can be filler. it’s a conversational adjective, i’d say. a play can be intense, but you probably wouldn’t hear your average professional critic use the word.

cells
Cytology, the study of cells, is a really interesting thing. Cells make up life, we all know that, and that’s what’s so captivating about them. Quarky little guys, they’re like tiny little people making up actual people. I won’t lie, i really love the idea of toying around with cells one day as my payed profession.

i can predict that the predicate will begin at the end of this sentence. Its a bitter sweet ending but it must be done just like when life moves on. death and despair is likely to come once our lives have come and gone. i predict i will know the ending of this sentence.

held
Being held to high standards can be a pretty annoying thing. The only standards you should be held to are your own really, because the only important things to you are the things you consider important. As far as i can tell, if you hold yourself to the proper standards you’ll become what you want.

belief
A strong belief can be a good or bad thing, depending on the belief. Not too many beliefs are worth fighting over, but people do it all the time anyway. I personally think we should just go with the tried and true accepting others’ beliefs idea, even if it is a bit cliched.

train
One time I saw a train driving down the free way and I though that was strange. I pulled over and saw that there was a deer driving this. Now im getting weirder out so I decided to leave the country and go to Japan where all the real weird shit happens. From that moment on I adopted a penguin and lived happily ever after.

train of thought is the first thing that comes to mind, broseph! train as in pokemon trainers; train as in adam who runs train; train as in on its tracks, an image which reminds me of the movie the fall.

Ride the train like a hobo, rich man. It’s good for the soul. Do as another would do, and live around outside your box.

embraced
I long to hold him in my arms after so many years apart. The way his neck was always so strong and muscular against my cheek. His coppery coat as delicate and soft as a butterfly’s wing. I miss his warm embrace and the way he used to press my body into his wide chest with his whiskery muzzle.
