I’ve gotten this more than once, but the saying stays the same. Stories are just places where we want to be. They are beyond our reach and often fiction instead of fact. They fill the night with words of childlike wonder.

There was a time when stories held emotion, a picture. They held an image of what was to come and what would never be. They took us on adventures to other places, but now all I see is darkness.

lamb
She wakes with bright eyes, and gently blinks the sleep away. Her limbs unfold as she stands up, teetering at first, but then finding her footing amidst the rocky dirt. The sun’s rays fall through the cracks in the ceiling as the little lamb’s mother raises her head; checking on her baby. She lowers her head when she sees the little one gently push the creaking wooden door open with her nose. She knows what time it is. It’s the little lamb’s time to play in the morning light, singing with the chorale of birds, breathing in the fresh awakening of the day as she leaps across the blossoming field and the sparkling dew soars, weightlessly to the sky with each small step of the lamb.

cave
alone in a cave. the water laps at my feet, yearning to come closer, to devour me. to take me in its icy cold grip and to sweep me away from my safety. My safety that i know is fleeting, for this cave will be submerged soon when the tide comes in. I make my way back to the very end of the cave, until i can feel the cold, wet stone caress my shoulders as i stand facing the water. I soon must take the plunge. I soon must return to those washing waves, the empty darkness below my feet, and that bitter taste that fills my whole being as the water drowns me. I must go. But i’m scared.

The cave was dark, the rain was falling outside making the splish-splash sound that scared Catherine. She could hear the trees banging against the side of the cave, her imagination playing tricks on her because there was no way a tree could make a sound against the sides of the cave.

The only time that Dean ever mentioned love was when he was eating something. A cheeseburger or a pie at most times would elicit such a response from Dean. Castiel wished that one day he would make that particular word come out of Dean’s mouth as well. But it was a hard thing to do, especially when there was nothing going on between the two of them. Everything was platonic at this point, as Balthazar loved to point out. And unless either Cas or Dean got the guts to speak to one another without alone and uninhibited, it was going to remain that way.

teeth is what is inside your mouth, they help you chew food, and they are sharp sometimes, and they could fall out (sometimes) if you don’t take care of them and brush them twice a day. just like me i brush them every day. They are also bones in your mouth to help food be eaten.
