Her entrance made everyone stop and stare. What was she doing here? More importantly, what was she doing here alone? Where was he? Had he left her? Had he died? It had been so long since they had seen her that they realized they knew nothing about her life anymore.

Before I left for college, things were much simpler. My parents got along, I didn’t pay bills, I didn’t have too many responsibilities, and everything seemed to be drama-free. Little did I know, my little sister was in the background rubbing her fingers together and laughing an evil cackle.

I lean back and rest my eyes. The soothing cream is smeared on my face and I exhale a deep breath I had been holding it. The massage begins on my feet and I let my muscles ease themselves a little further. It’s been too long since I’ve had a “me” day.

darlings
I have no idea what darlings are. So I’m just going to make up my own definition for it. I think darlings are Christmas decorations. Well, that’s what it sounds like at least. Christmas decorations are the things you hang up on chimney or the house. My family does not put that many decorations up because it’s not our family tradition. We just put lights up around our Christmas Tree which is located in our living room. Honestly, I have no idea what the definition is, but that’s what I think!
